They screwed him. Hes making less then Kocheckov and hes our number 1 . He should have gotten like 3million for 3 years.
1.9 mill is actually a fair deal. If he rolled the dice and his health and play continued until the summer he probably would be getting tops 3 or 3.5 mill a year for 3 years. Rolling the dice for 1 mill more a year when you could be getting 2 right now is a risk. I would have done the same thing.
We low balled him… bad business in the long run for a legit front office. He earned better.
