What do you do with Mantha? Trade, resign or let walk?
As a critic of Dubas, although I would give him credit for this, because everyone deserves some credit. But if this team was to play next year I don't think they would do as good, half their roster is having career years. Having said that this trade deadline is going to be a good test for me to see if I can get invested in him to steer this team in the right direction for a championship, not just a functional organization
I read an article yesterday that Dubas wants Morgan Reilly and the Leafs were going to eat half his salary and throw in a 2nd rounder getting Kindel in return. At the bottom of the article they said it was just a rumour for a potential deal. I juat about lost my chips lol They don't need another 30+ year-old D-man who can't keep the puck out of his end. And Kindel is part of the present and the future. I hope Dubas doesn’t make moves similar to this.
Extend Geno 1 year is a no brainer, get it done!
you do not trade a Kindel for a Morgan Rielly. would be crazy to do that.
