    Seider blocks shots, hits, never misses a game, plays the longest in minutes, power play, penalty kill, literally does everything. Edvinsson stubs his toe and misses half the season.

    I think for sure USA is the favorite against the swede, we have lost some great players ahead of this tournament that drops us a bit in ranks i would think. Leo Carlsson was on a 120 point pace before his injury, at the quartermark of the season i believe he was top 5 in the league in points (where now Raymond is the highest point ranked and i don't think he even hit top 25?), so Leo would have been our top center where they have Eriksson Ek now instead. Also Brodin was a big blow to lose, he continue to be one of the most underrated players in the NHL, really an elite defensive defenceman… It would have to take something special to win against U.S for Sweden let alone Canada that would wait next. We'll see…

    With that said i would like to say that i've been waiting for Detroit to give Tralmaks a look for a long timr now. I mean why not? We need depth scoring bad and he sure can provide that with being on pace for 35 goals in the AHL and he is a big body, i'm sure he could buy in playing bottom six and check to get a NHL chance at age 28. Also on another not, why havnt Malte Setkov earned even an AHL contract with us since he got drafted? The guy is even bigger then Söderblom and he sure looks like he can skate and play on this level, he was even out there for Danmark when they tried to tie the game up against Czechia. And he looked real solid against Team USA playing against NHL stars… I know he plays for his hometown back in Danmark and maybe he is content with being at home. But still only 27yo, 6'8 225lbs dman who can skate and play physical is intriguing to me, atleast get him to Grand Rapids and see how he do, the tools are there from what i've seen in this olympics…?
