  1. That hit on McAvoy was dirty as it gets. Career AHL guy jumps to elbow through his head! Then the Bruins are short handed?? This is egregious! The ref was looking right at it! and 2:00? What a Joke. Then the AHL goon hides in the locker room for the rest of the game (Coward) for presumably bruising his elbow on McAvoy's head. Bruins brass need to put their foot down. Intentionally injuring a player the day before the Olympics with a callup goon? Could have taken a medal away from the USA if Charlie wasn't tough as nails. THG put out a video about how the Panthers are perceived as being dirty because they are winning, I think it is the opposite. They win because 1. they can injure other teams with impunity 2. They dive more than any other team 3, The refs being willfully incompetent. I honestly think there is a directive in place. 4. broadcast in this case (absolute one-sided trash from TNT, telling us the exact opposite of what happened as we are watching the replay!!). And that is just against Boston! Combine that with running EVERY goalie in the playoffs, and hits with intent to injure. No, there is just too much evidence that the league is treating Florida differently. I have never seen this before and I don't want the NHL to turn into FIFA for the love of god.

  2. Not sure what a penalty is anymore and how many minutes it gets. Looked like a 5 minute elbow on FL but it was just a 2 minute minor on McAvoy. It kind of looks like the NHL doesn't want Boston in the playoffs and they are trying to make it hard for them, but then there's a call for hugging in front of the net for 2 minutes. So hugging and flying elbows same amount of penalty minutes this year. I feel like the Panthers didn't win that game. I guess when the first star of the game is 0 goals, 0 assists and a minus 3 you kind of shake your head. thats like a goalie with a 800 save percentage and allowing 6 goals in the game but they won 7-6 because they made that one last save.

  3. sorry 3rd comment about the overlapping games. The St Louis Game and Dallas was moved to HLN. Whatever that is. Not sure if that is available in Canada. I don't even know if its available in the states.

  4. Not even a fine for Vilmanis lol.

Also real weird in the review we get passive voice with "McAvoy went down. It looked like he might have had a concussion" as if an energy wave hit him and not a flying elbow from a Panther.

  5. HABS old guys were on their game last night Gally 1G 2A, Anderson 1G 2A, Danault 1G. The kids Hutson doing Hutson things, Kappy being clutch. Monty ends the night with GAA 1.0 SV% 0.973. Good way to start the Olympic break.

  6. Both DET and MTL are like a couple of fast greyhounds that keep getting distracted. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if they both ended up behind BUF, who have been far more consistent, and have a much, much better +/-…It'll be interesting to see what LAK looks like coming back from the break with Panarin cut in…FLA needs a LOT of help to get in. (Please don't give it to them.) FLA @ TBL tonight!… 😁…Better get your Rambo magnet out, Skanes!… 🤣…Meanwhile, CBJ kinda controls their destiny if they can keep up this tear they've been on…Logic and the data would tell us all that it'll be a TBL-COL Cup Final, but this season is still fun to watch…

  7. Are teams afraid to forecheck? My god, I wanted to literally CHOKE San Jose last night with that pansy as forechecking 😡🧐🤯, they could’ve beat Colorado if they tried. Doing the DANGLE SCREAM 😲.

  8. The Wild keep going to OT – great for points, but I fear they will become 3-3 specialists with all the OTs. not a good sign for finishing games in the playoffs in the normal 3 periods or adjusting to 5-5 OT’s.

  9. Letting this one go to OT definitely hurt Florida but at this point it might be just take what you can get. Wasn't surprised Marchand ended up playing in this one and fitting he was the difference maker.
