Rempe should have played in the AHL or been on long term injured reserve since he couldn't fight or play effectively. Now this. There were several fighters from Hartford who could have filled that gap…

A team that trades proven players for picks/prospects… when it absolutely blows at drafting/developing…is on the path to failure.
This trade mania is ridiculous. There is no hurry to make trades. Rangers could probably get a better 1st round pick if they wait to the off season. There is no quick fix "retool" here.

Rempe is an overrated fighter in the NHL because of his size. Take the fighting out of his game, and he's barely an AHL player. Get what you can for him.
