The Rebuild began just prior to the 23-24 Season. In So far as Obtaining a Star defenseman or Centerman. You have to DRAFT such a player. Flyers are in the middle of a Complete Rebuild. They will Obtain a Franchise Center or defenseman in a June draft. Not through a trade.
I see that Jett is finally excelling at juniors….. at wing SMH. Why can't this administration evaluate centers or dmen? Jett and Nesbitt look like 2 massive misses. Flahr has to go imo. Really, the whole scouting department needs to be cleaned out. This rebuild is a mess imo.

The Flyers need to lose as many games as possible when they cone back from break, so they can get into the top 10 and get one if these top defensive prospects, like Alberts Smits. They have to suck it up and bring in top end talent at key positions. Anything less guarantees more purgatory. Off the Flyers can trade Brink, Cates, Tippet and Risto to get a center prospect they should do that also.
I watched Kaplan for four years at BU, he was a fourth liner with very little offense. But now we expect him to score in the AHL? I don’t understand your expectations here.
their draft tactics seem very questionable, both before and now with Briere. They've missed so many great players and picked lesser players or made disaster picks. As a small sample, they could have picked Josh Morrissey (instead of Sam Morin) in 2013, Zach Werenski in 2015 (instead of Provorov) or of course Makar in 2017 (instead of Nolan Patrick). You can say other teams have missed but not as consistently with first round picks and if there are other teams they've probably been mediocre for years just like the Flyers. They've also had the misfortune of Carter Hart and Cutter Gauthier. Danny deserves alot of credit for Zegras, Vladar and Dvorak but he has to find top talent in the draft and not miss as often as they have in the past.
Briere and Jones should trade all draft picks because Flahr and the scouting staff are not reliable
Brink is not gonna get you what you need. You will have to trade Michkov or Martone for a potential 1C. We dont want a 28yr old center ,we want a young center.
First step: put Kate Smith statue back up.
2nd step: dig up Ed Snyder body and let him run the Flyers again
I would keep Erisson as back up to vladar, because they have so many positions to worry about . At this point even if he still playing bad and loses games , they’ll move up in the draft
See if Russ and Rachel agree. Isn’t the best way for Danny to kind of reset where they are in rebuild to fire flahr. The lack of depth and progress really at all of any of guys not named Martone. Is really scary considering the amount of picks we’ve used and he was here for all the guys now we’re going to give up on . tuomolla,imagine gendron soon ,etc
