Canadian here, sad that we lost to USA. Like many others who love hockey, this is more than just a game. I was a kid when Sid won it for Canada, this game almost feels like rebirth to me. So much memory, so much emotion from 16 years ago which still feels very fresh. However, as a hockey lover, this sport deserves way more from the world, and I'm very happy that Jack did it for USA like Sid did for Canada. This guy will go down becoming an icon that will inspire many millions of kids from both countries to play hockey and grow love for hockey. I'm a die-hard Canadian and I've seen the trolls from the internet, but hockey should have nothing to do with politics. It was Patrick Kane – the American who first got me into hockey, till this day I still play hockey myself. No matter what, either it's Canada's sport or the US', if hockey could bring people together, the happiness, the joy, it is what really matters. Jack Hughes, I'm glad he did it for USA this time. I'm very happy for Team USA. Congrats.
