The Canucks are open to trading anyone if management believes it will make the team better. I will believe a trade with Garland when i see Alvin put out a press release stating such a trade. I ain't holding my breath. I do expect all the UFA's will be traded if there is any interest in any of them, that seems a certainty. The way you talking Pye he is gettin traded 4 shore. Would i trade Christmas? Show me what the return is, that is the only sensible answer. There is no panic, trade deadline isn't till next Friday. Truth is there are still a lot of teams that don't know if they are buyers or sellers so the market for their UFA's hasn't even fully developed yet. This management would have pulled the trigger already as they like to get things done early so just know they haven't got the offers they feel are adequate enough for the players that are on the auction block.

At this point it's about getting as much trade stock as possible WHILE keeping a small core group of players that have key attributes you want our next cohort to have. We all become the average of the people we're around. Design their locker room with talent like Garland and Hronik so we immediatly have an identity!

Kane w/ 50% retention for a 3rd (ideally a 2nd)
Blueger for a 3rd / 4th
Kampf for anything
Debrusk for conditional 1st + cap dump
Garland for 2 2nds + mid prospect (ideally 2027 + 2028 2nds)
