It goes farther back than the last 4 games but even then: 22 goals in your net the last 4 games? And so many $$$$$ contracts signed which are in retrospect ridiculous (management and players).

If they go 0 – 3 in California, it's over. That's the season. Each game is a 4 point differential, and in all honesty, even if they win the next two, that may still be the season.
This team is headless, and flapping is arms in panic, in the middle of the ocean.
The head coach is clueless, and the only chance of righting the ship at this point, comes in the form of Coffey's return, but I'm not sure there's enough runway left for him to make enough of a correction.
