What an accomplishment, now get this man a cup FFS.

So why does Sportsnet’s Mark Spector think McDavid sucks?

29 years old, 6 years puts him to 35. Crosby has figured out how to sustain himself even into his late 30’s. Do we think Davo has 6 100+ years in him? I hope so because I would love to see him smash as many Gretzky records as possible.

Imagine if Super Mario stayed healthy

No one cares about assists. Score goals. Only once he led the league in goals scored.

This is a great achievement and deserves a lot of praise. The way McDavid puts the afterburners on when he’s on the ice is unique. I wonder when age will begin to slow him down, though. Can you be this fast at 35? I doubt it. Like other superstars before him, McDavid will be forced to change the way he plays and collects points when he gets older.

I suspect he wouldve had 10 if he didnt break his clavicle rookie year

So dominant but without his name on a cup and a golden cookie on a lanyard, he won’t match the legacy of the greats.

He’s an amazing player and he deserves to win the cup, preferably with Edmonton of course, but the older he gets without one there, the more likely he’s going to want to go elsewhere to get it. A player of his calibre deserves the Cup!

He’d have 10 if COVID season wasn’t cut short.

Great! How many cups did he win again?!

What is the point of comments like « but zero cups ». It’s not like he is dogshit in playoffs. But instead of being glad that you can enjoy watching one of the best players to play hockey, you are just envy he is not on your team.
