I am a Western PA resident, and was given a ticket for this game tonight, as a Christmas present. Five on five, the better team through two periods. The power play was AWFUL; giving up odd man rushes with the man advantage. Wow!

Olympics are over…reality is back. Our players are not good together. Although I don’t believe the Olympics are an accurate indicator of the skill level it was obvious they play better separate from each other. Listening to the postgame it’s not surprising they are perennial losers and will continue to be so. They’ve been professional hockey for how long??? They still don’t know how to find another gear, how to shoot the puck so it goes in, how to battle for 60? They are pathetic top to bottom.

2026 season cannot come fast enough. Same story. Opportunities and just cannot finish. Cant get pucks in net. Pressure ridiculous on goalies every night. We just are an absolute train wreck. At some point it becomes comical . But ill keep watching its called dedication. But cant wait till something changes if it ever does..

Ace, I know you don't like blaming Keefe, and I completely understand your reasons. However, don't you have to admit that this team had a little more success under Ruff? I honestly don't know what Keefe's system is. The team plays such boring hockey. No speed, their passing is off, and their defensive breakdowns are awful.

We need some one like a Brady Tkachuk on this team. I really don't know who's the voice in the locker room to get this team fired up and motivated right now. I'm honestly at the point where I would trade away some big names for him.
The only hockey trades that may be out there for us make may be trying to get Thomas or Kyrou but I doubt they’d waive their no trade clause to come to this shit show, both right handed, both top 6 forwards, both things we lack! Maybe they get both like the Niewendyke, Langenbrunner trade lol. I can dream right?
