Viable trade here you asked: IF Red Wings flame out in playoffs that is a team that is a match for a Helly trade. Sebastien Cosse and Trey Augustine both top goalie prospects plus, plus, plus more in return
3:39 "Gord common" – It's not Gord's job to propose what they can get for Helle. Did you think PLD would bring Vilardi, Iafallo, and a couple more assets? Nobody knows that until they sit down at the table. If you're going to ask callers to on the spot give you answers to questions that nobody can answer then you're doing so because you're too lazy to come up with a worth while conversation. Helle and Kyle Connor are over valued teams will give up real assets for them. Who is not the question.
Jets failed to build around Helle. They needed to do what NJD did with Brodeur defence defence defence.
Why are people talking about heli .the best goalie then if you trade him then they bitch about we need a goalie.
For Hellebuyck you keep him unless it's a similar offer to Rantanen/Hughes the difference is Hughes wasn't going resign Vancouver after contract and Canes tried to sign Rantanen but moved him Dallas.
In both cases the teams with little leverage got 4 1st round equivalents.
A US team aquiring him has control he is signed highest value he will have ever is 32 years old for team and player I would trade him maybe he wins another Vezina/Cup and can pass Vasilevskiy as best goalie this generation he can't do it without 1 Cup. But is best US goalie all time already.
1. Utah has an abundance of picks/prospects like Iginla,Desnoyers,Beaudoin,Simashev,But,ect.
A goalie would have to come back in deals. Vejmelka
And a NHL ready guy.
– vejmelka
-Hayton or Crouse
– 1st they have multiple
– a prospect named above.
2. Buffalo
Same as Utah they probably have most pressure start becoming a playoff team after missing along time if they are able resign Tuch get a Hellebuyck it would be a good move.
– if you want a Forward you might take a Benson if you want a dman Power.
-1st
– Devon Levi 24yr old Canadian goalie prospect basically NHL ready.
– Noah Ostlund if they are bent on keeping him ask for Kulich/Rosen.
3. SJ makes sense but shouldn't be in hurry rush rebuild. Ottawa but it's another Canadian team.
4. NJ- Needs to figure things out
– Simon Nemec
– Dawson Mercer
-1st
– either Allan/Markstrom as throw in
5. Pittsburgh and Philly could only give up futures.
It won't be as much but examples
– 1st rounder
– Carson Bjarnason
-Mathew Gard
– Could you take less but get a Michkov/or Tippett.
6. Blue Jackets
– Kent Johnson
– Merzilkins
– Lindstrom/try and get Mataychuk
– 1st
7. Just for the 1 Caller suggested Canadian teams.
Montreal would need to give up
– Guhle
-Hage
– 1st
– Montembault
– another 1st Maybe it's conditional
Would you or not trade him if you got similar deals I do agree only way to know whats out there is Chevy float the idea like Armstrong in StLouis is doing with RobertThomas. But if Hellebuyck or teams try and make it hard/low ball you force jets only go to 2 teams just say we're keeping him. But do your job due diligence
Yeah no team is giving up a Draisaitl or some superstar for Hellebuyck. You can argue team might get better long term but expecting a top 20 NHLer back won't happen. Scheifele,Connor,Helly I agree signed belief in team/win a cup they didn't project being a bottom 5 team. Maybe it's a situation similar McDavid where gives another year but possibly leaves. As for Scheifele,Morrissey they are different than Helly Hawerchuk/1st pick/he stated his idol Yzerman being with 1 team meant something not just a cup. And you can see how happy forget the winning Connor is to be back with the Jets/Scheifele. Knowing they would be tied to each other matters in resigning. Connor situation wasn't a trump it was a morale/team USA issue you can tell.
And Hellebuyck clearly felt opposite of Connor after Olympics.
I'm not sold on Hellebuyck like some fans are and bullish on losing a trade alot of fans are technically right imo you'll lose rn but if you got picks a top or a few top prospects the future will be brighter than keeping a 32 turging 33 yr old goalie signed til late 30s at least for how I view the jets
The same way you said if organization believes in ShaneWright packages above are same view do you believe in a Michkov,Power,Nemec whoever
Obviously teams arnt giving up even mid contenders guys like Byfield,Jarvis,Guenther,Caufield/Slavkovsky/Hutson and teams like Detroit who have Gibson/Augustine/Cossa and lottery teams like Vancouver make 0 sense from other teams perspective. What I mean is NJ doesn't mind losing Nemec/Mercer because they can replace or have guys on team Nemec can be replaced Casey/Silyayev and Mercer is behind Hughes/Hischier.
Same with most trades I proposed
Power+1st+Levi+Benson/Ostlund they keep Byram/Thompson/Tuch/Dahlin cores
Montreal, Detroit, Anaheim and NJ could all offer a good package. If you think about it, there are probably a few more teams. Obviously Winnipeggers do not appreciate Helle, so trade him to a good hockey market. Jets really need to get younger. Even with Helle, the Jets are probably 6 forwards and 2 defensemen short of a playoff threat.
Get ottinger and Harley from Dallas
If we are gonna trade helly and throw in demello and schenn
Give some of the young moose boys a chance
Like lambert
Helle to Detroit for Raymond, 2 1st's and a prospect. Raymond doesn't have a NMC.
