Yep, just crying now…tears of joy!

  2. Fuck the Panthers but I think that was a bad call.

    But fuck the panthers

I’ve seen this type of interference with the glove get called the same way multiple times this year. I’m not surprised with the decision.

I get the Panthers reputation around here but that was clear interference

What is the rule when the attempted save is outside the crease? I almost feel it’s like in football where the player should have the right to try to play, or tip, the puck just as much as the goalie has the right to attempt a save.

  6. Paul Maurice is going be calling Mr Campbell and getting someone fired for this.

If Reinhart shoots instead of passes that play never happens. Panthers are cooked.

Mikkola pushes the Sabres player’s stick into the glove. The call on the ice was a good goal. NHL Rule 69:

Initiated Contact: If an attacking player is pushed into the goalie by a defender, it is usually not considered interference.

Add to this the contact was outside the crease.

Called a good goal on the ice, after review not interference because the initiated contact was the result of Mikkola pushing the Sabres player’s stick into the glove. The contact was outside the crease. Not Goal Tender Interference.

Florida video review should have been aware of other similar calls from this season and the rulebook and not have initiated a challenge.

Panthers in shock when officials don’t go their way.
