Les Sabres de Buffalo sont sortis de la trêve olympique en pleine forme, remportant leurs trois matchs sur la route. Le plus impressionnant est une victoire sur la route contre le meilleur Lightning de Tampa Bay de l’Est, après avoir joué la veille, par un score de 6-2 ! Dans l’une de leurs meilleures victoires de la saison, les Sabres ont prouvé que cette équipe est capable de réaliser plus que de se qualifier pour les séries éliminatoires.     Tampa played dirty last night. Pittsburgh shut out Vegas hopefully they can beat Eichel. Coop was losing his mind last night.

    Not worried about the lightning at all. They rely too much on skill and the sabres can out work and out grit them while being on the same level with skill due to how offensive and mobile our Dmen are. In the playoffs work ethic and grit can ovecomr skill

    I think that’s why we saw them get so pissed and started playing dirty because that’s 2 games where we were on back to back and we took it to them. They recognize we are a real threat and they tried to intimidate us 😅. Didn’t work wt all. They are too soft

    The team that is the most worrisome for the playoffs is the Hurricanes.

    They’re the one team where there system and work ethic and grit either matches or exceeds us. However i think we have a slight skill advantage on them when in comparison i think the lighting has a slight skill advantage on us..

    However again our mobile D is good enough to overcome the Hurricanes pressure.

    My initial reaction is that this is like the 2017 Bills. I would be happy just breaking the Playoff drought.

    However, they are reminding me of the 2005-06 Sabres. This is one of the best runs the Sabres have had. I expect them to go deep in the Playoffs. Dare I say Stanley Cup?

    The trade deadline answer is Travis Konecny. Offer Levi, a prospect and a pick. He offers you a younger version of Tuch with a great contract for several years. Short term he is a huge help for the playoff run. Long term, he is Tuch replacement and will let Tuch get a huge UFA contract for his family. Everyone wins!!!

    Tampa is the dirtiest and cheapest team in the NHL and John Cooper is cry baby of a coach, this guy whines and complains about everything, I see Owen Power still standing there doing nothing again, what a waste this guy is.

    The lightning played like a bunch of giant cry babies throwing tantrums last night cause they were getting it taken to them. Like they normally do that to other teams and when it finally happened to them they cried foul. That team is now near the top of teams I’d love to see collapse in the playoffs

    Metsa is so underrated. Such a good role player this year. Sabres always had the skill players but the role players have really kicked in this year

    Because of the format of the NHL playoffs, the Sabres will almost certainly face the Lightning in the 2nd round of the playoffs assuming they win the 1st round. That will be really tough, but if they get past that they could go all the way.

    Metsa has been very solid. A tremendous success story! Go Sabres! Tampa Bay played like thugs the last 2/3’s of the game. Refs need to shut that down and not just put SABRES players in the box for “retaliation”. Multiple guys could have been hurt last night with all of the cheap shots and late hits after the whistle.
