On pace for 27 now. He pumps out 2 goal games like crazy. A hat trick is due…

    HE CAN GET 30 AAAA

He’s like when I make a character in EANHL and it doesn’t really matter which position I pick because I’ll just be up and down the ice doing everything

At the start of the season I predicted he would have flashes of greatness but need a lot of work keeping up with the speed and physicality of the NHL. He’d spend half the season in the AHL. Maybe end up with 5 goals and 6 assists. He’d end the season as a solid bottom pair with the promise of playing a prominent role in 26/27 when he gets a little more maturity and fills out.
Somehow they Islanders have not asked me to be a scout yet. Maybe they lost my contact info?

  4. How do I tell my wife and kids that I don’t only like Schaefer but I actually like like like him?

I think the Olympics break really helped him.

  6. During the break I began daydreaming of a 9-12-21 in 24GP finish.

It’d make for a 25-35-60 line, which seems a ridiculous ask, but I remember Tavares rallying after the break in ‘10 – he had a sleepy 9 pts-in-37 games stretch going – closing strong, including a massive five-pointer against Vancouver, obviously refreshed by the three-week holiday.

So far, post-break Schaef looks like he was shot out of a cannon. (Even managed to hobble Tkachuk late in the second tonight, just for added style points.)
