Anaheims ne recherche pas de location (c’est une jeune équipe) mais ils ont besoin d’un milieu 6 avant et d’un spécialiste du top 4 PP. Ils ont l’espace de plafond nécessaire pour prolonger McMann et je pense toujours que Rielly pourrait prospérer loin du système Berubes. Il jouerait également derrière LaCombe sur leur tableau de profondeur, Rielly est de toute façon un Dman de la 2e paire et il est un joueur éprouvé en séries éliminatoires.

In any world where the Leafs can convince Rielly to waive his NMC, the Leafs are definitely paying to get rid of him in picks or retention.

First off, you guys need to just assume Rielly is going nowhere, he’s shown zero indication of waiving his NMC.
Secondly they absolutely do not need Rielly.
I don’t think McMann quite gets you Mintyukov but I think it’s closer than a lot of you think. Would still be fine with a couple seconds and Tristan Luneau. I can’t lie and say I’ve watched him lol. But he had 52p in 59 games last year as a rookie defensemen in the AHL. Much less points this year (20 in 52) but you’d still be getting picks and he’d be more of a throwin. He’s sorta logjammed, while they need right shot D, all three of their left d are very offense first. He just doesn’t fit with them. Also, Stian Solberg would get the chance first anyways.

Leafs stopped looking for unconventional gems in other leagues. They should be doing that again because those are free assets. Remember when each season they would pick up a player on a one year contract and if he didn’t fit on the team, they would trade them for a team that would and would at least get a draft pick in return.
Lacombe is already signed long term there.
That leaves both Mintyukov and Zellweger as potentially being available – don’t need 3 similar puck-moving Dmen.
Both Mintyukov and Zellweger need new deals, too. I would be speaking to the Ducks about both of them and seeing which one you could shake lose
