Jim was a fantastic guy and I truly believe that if we had a different group of players with different personalities this could be a totally different story.

This whole thing has been a rollercoaster as a kings fan
This team is going nowhere even with the coaching change. Holland baked a bad cake and Hiller's coaching ineptness was the bad frosting on that cake. Hiller lost the fans when he refused to take responsibility after the playoff exit last season. It was obvious the blame was with him and if he had just admitted it, learned from it, and changed his strategies, he might have had more success. Holland now needs to be replaced, and dare I say it, Luc, and start the rebuild.
I’m sure he is a good person outside of the arena, but he was not meant for this job this season. He should have been gone after game 6 of last playoffs. This season has been a massive waste, and we have lost a lot of good players and talent because of him as well. Most specifically, our d-core is utter @$$ this season because of him (and Luc).

I understand he's a good guy but this sport isn't about being a good man it's about doing your job right and if you can't deliver then this is what happens. We need leadership but the prob is everyone is too nice to wake the team up.
Bottom line. It didn’t matter how good or bad the players are on this team, we were never going to win a Stanley Cup with Jim Hiller as our head coach.
