@Canucks de Vancouver

[Murphy] Je viens de recevoir un autre appel à ce sujet, et disons que les Bruins de la LNH ont beaucoup de concurrence contre Conor Garland.

Send him home! Wonder what they’d send back? Send minten back home?

Garland for Mittelstadt makes a ton of sense to me. Probably close to 1-1, maybe a mid round pick gets added either from Van/Boston.

Garlands a Boston guy, and feels like a good fit for their team. Mittelstadt hasn’t really worked out in Boston, so they get his contract off the books this season/next.

Vancouver gets off Garlands long-term deal, and gets a replacement for Filip Chytil. Vancouver can look to flip Mittelstadt down the line.

But of a win-win from both sides in terms of shedding contracts.

Good. Drive those prices up. Let’s get a bidding war going.

Management came out after the Hughes trade saying they knew for over a year, Quinn probably wasn’t resigning. So why in the hell did they go and resign these guys that they are trying to unload now?

Something tells me that after Friday, last place is an absolute certainty… 🙁

It’s gotta be Poitras. Said to be available. 21 year old right handed Canadian center. He’s produced in limited minutes for them but hasn’t been a fixture in the lineup.

We gotta get some competition for Cootes next year. The way things are I don’t see how Cootes won’t instantly make the team while competing with Ratÿ and Sasson.

  7. Not surprising. Garland has always been a great player that is underrated by the fanbase and teams definitely can see the value. He is currently tied with every winger except Debrusk for points while playing 10 less games than them and 4-5 less than Boeser.

I think we will get a decent return for him and Debrusk. Boeser is the one I can’t see us getting a good return but I would be completely fine if we just move off of him.

Rumors are rumors. But I believe the canucks deadline will be

    1) trade Kane
    2) trade Myers
    3) trade 1 of Debrusk or Garland

I think Bluegar stays and signs an extension

  9. Please, please trade Boeser. Great guy, terrible contract.

I’m so ready for Brock to leave. He’s just not a good player anymore. We are paying good money for a goal scorer who’s always hurt and doesn’t score enough scores to justify his salary. I like Garland a lot and it’s a shame to see him go but he’s one of our best trade pieces.
