  1. on-ice this year with the opponent net empty:

    Patrick Kane

    3:15 TOI, 4-4 corsi, 3-2 fenwick, 3-2 SOG, 3-0 GF/GA

    1.86 – 0.12 xGF, 1-2 chances, 0-1 high danger

    JT Compher

    18:55 TOI, 14-37 corsi, 6-26 fenwick, 4-21 SOG, 4-2 GF/GA

    3.06 – 1.91 xGF, 2-20 chances, 1-9 high danger

Kane's line dominant and responsible defensively all game long. Kane responsible and team-best defensively for months and months. Compher swapped in for Kane on his own line w the net empty.

This is an evil, evil coach. Nothing else to say about it.

Kane should stop playing defensively responsible at all, ever. He should just cherrypick all game and push offense all game and never dump it in or do anything to relieve pressure defensively. If playing the right way and getting team-best defensive results for months and months gets you punished, why do it?

  2. Big win! Kaner had a pretty good game. Even defensively he was pretty damn good today

  3. Happy for Cam, coming in and being rock solid. People forget without his play when Gibson was sucking….Wings probably aren't in the Play-Offs. Hopefully Gibson's injury isn't too bad. Hoping them saying "It's doubtful he'll return tonight" means it's precautionary. The compete level was much better tonight as well.

  4. Win goes to Todd McLellan for mixing the lines up and motivating the team. Kasper and Finnie looked good together providing must needed speed and energy. Also I'm not worried about Simon Edvinsson, he had surgery and missed a lot of time. I am worried about John Gibson though

  5. Kane has looked sharp all season long but there we go. Todd’s plan to ruin Kanes stats has finally worked this season. Having this much jealously and bias is horrible.

  6. Talbs was great. Boys took Coach's words to heart. Let off a bit near the end, but held it down. LFGRWs, come home and get another win.
