Damn Ross, I've never seen anyone challenge Jim before and I think you've hit on a couple solid notes. 1) why was ehlers not traded last year's deadline? Winnipeg could have had some young fast wingers that would have helped the second line. Maybe even a center 2 Winnipeg has been drafting centers and refused to use them at their natural position or had a chance to succeed how many times do they end up becoming wingers and on the bottom? All of them being used as wingers The on exception would be perfect in the top six but again winger if we keep drafting centers and playing them outside their natural position, we're going to have the same problem in decades to come 3) scouting and management. Winnipeg scouting system is not in the same since 2015 when the head scout left after then it's been a mismatch of players, a couple of successes and the rest they refuse to play till the age out on the moose Why they're not drafting players that they think the coaches will use? Another thing we've noticed that the GM refuses to make any trade until his hands are tied. How many times did we wait and lose? He doesn't have any forecasting drives me crazy when you see our system is based on the speed of the forech see all speed go and you get more players that play the same dude. The only thing we can do is change system. Do we change system? No it is so perplexing and again to touch base. We're using our centers that we draft as wingers, so we're going to continue to have the same problem as center. Let him do the drafting maybe with his hands on as drafting might get a little better but with player transaction we have to get someone else
Barlow is not a ctr never mind a potential 2C. Yager is looking more like a 3RW than a 2C.

Florida, Washington, New Jersey and (if you want to go there) Toronto must all have terrible GMs and scouting staffs based on their regular season performance this year.
The moat entertaining thing about that last game was the forgetting the words to "Oh Canada" it was fast but they blew it again , and there is about the same chance of them going 8-0, 7-1, 6-2 hell 5-3 in the next 10 as me being scoring leader in the remainder of the season the only thing to save us is next years rebuild

Yeah trade deadline. You got to sell off the ufas lost season. I mean it's too bad injuries to 91, 17 and 54. Obviously cost the you know the Jets veteran scoring and then of course you have need a rider getting hurt. And you know, obviously letting ehlers go walk for nothing was like huge mistake. So to me going forward for the team they need to again trade the USA I would even look at if you offers for your rfas and if anyone you know blows you out of the water with a trade you can't refuse you got to take it. Stanley, you either sign them or you trade them. You can't let him go unsign past the trade deadline. I would even trade peonk and if you really wanted to keep Stanley and tracyunk and there you have your space for Stanley you know maybe you could build the bridge to keep Heinola on the third line, but I think that bridge is burnt by mismanagement and you need to give your prospects opportunity and then even sniffs. So by opportunity I mean like Lambert chipperkoff need to be given like 10 game stretches at least to see if they can handle the duty. Not just one game on two off like like beginning of the season and then I would give guys like Yaeger and Barlow a gamer 2. Just to see what what they need to work on to get to the NHL game. And I seen comments that people outside the organization. Some of the reporters don't think the moose are a good organization and when you think there's been how many players that have left and had careers right outside of the jet system but buried in the Jets minors until then. They need to stop bearing the prospect pipeline by signing or trading for players, like they did with Heinola. It's basically players need to finish their contract. Sign is a UFA and then have a career outside of Winnipeg as their best opportunity to get to NHL and that shouldn't be it for a draft and develop team. And that's the other thing too is since Marcel Como left the team drafting hasn't been as good
