@Blue Jackets de Columbus

Les prévisions de la date limite des échanges athlétiques et audacieux

Première question, optez-vous pour cet échange, et deuxièmement, combien de temps avant de le nommer capitaine s’il est ramené.

Don keeps saying we’re not getting rentals but all of our beat writers say we could bring home Foligno idk what’s happening

I’d wait until the season is over for Capt. Fliggy, but gosh, would I love to see him back here

  3. PrayingForACup

And to think I considered Columbus to be a “buyer” at the deadline. Foligno had his moment in Columbus but his career is on the twilight tour. Behind closed doors, I imagine he’d want to go to a legit contender. How about trade for a player who can contribute more than a hug?

  4. DansNewLegs2291

I’d love to bring him back. We need a change in leadership in the room.

This is purely Portzline trying to manifest something.

  6. Why would the jackets bring back nick foligno, is he even getting regular playing time in Chicago?

  7. Portzy keeps dangling this possibility out there and I can’t tell if it’s because he would like to see it or if the front office wants to gauge the fanbase’s feelings about it.

I love Foligno, but that’s not a great idea for us right now.

Some of these are really lazy « bold predictions. ». Nashville is expected to « do nothing, ». Buffalo will « trade their first round pick, Seattle will « acquire a player with a big cap hit. »

  9. Thin-Ad4410

No. Zach is the next captain.

Also, none of these are « BOLD » predictions.

    Nashville – do nothing

    Pittsburgh – make multiple moves

Washington – make a big addition

    Riveting.

    Wha??? Fliggy , for real?

Why not RJ Umberger or Fedor Tuytin? /s

  11. palmtreestatic

at this point in his career I don’t know what Foligno really would add to the team. Other than just a healthier version of Boone? I just don’t see how he makes the team better offensively or defensively.

  12. Let me know when the Athletic starts making content that doesn’t leave us as an afterthought

  13. Dkoop2003

Please no, if we’re buying we should be big game hunting, go get Thomas, Robertson, Kyrou, or even Marchessault. As nice as a reunion with Fliggy would be we don’t really have a spot for him in the lineup, and I’m not convinced he’d really be an upgrade over anyone we have in our bottom six right now

  14. ThunderousDemon86

Is this is a feeler for the FO: no, Don don’t do this.

If this is just Porty wishcasting: come up with some new material.

  15. Why do the Avs get two centers? This list seems very suspect at best.

  16. NuclearBuns

I’m not buying that at all. Definitely bring back Foligno for a future single day retirement or something, but I don’t think that trade makes sense right now.

And Z should have the C. There is no debate on that in my mind.

  17. thisisnotexcel

He was one of the best captains in any sport I follow, but that’s a hard no on bringing him back, even for free. Packing a team w/sentimental favorites doesn’t get you to the playoffs, let alone win a Cup.

  18. Sad_Intention2932

If the oilers trade savoie the fans will riot

  19. Did somebody actually get paid money to write this? Or was this one of those “make some content in exchange for exposure” deals?

  20. ItsAndyrew

Our team is set when it comes to 3rd/4th liners. We need someone who can help our 2nd line not be completely useless. If it’s not that type of player then don’t even bother making any moves, especially with the inflated asking prices at the deadline.
