Stamkos a dit qu’il y avait "zéro chance" il renonce à sa clause commerciale, il semble donc peu probable que les rumeurs à son sujet soient valables.

Linus Karlsson, Cole Smith (échangé à Vegas) et Nazem Kadri ont tous été dans le mélange des rumeurs. À ce stade, je n’ai légitimement aucune idée de qui JBB s’en prend réellement et c’est probablement intentionnel.

Let’s move Bjork for Spencer the Influencer. I have a feeling he could be more useful at this point.
With the exception of Guentzel and maybe Gourde, most of our pickups have been names which JBB has managed to keep quiet until the last moment.
Cole smith went to Vegas? Unless it isn’t official yet and is waiting for something
If/when we buy, kinda scared to see what we pay. The prices paid so far have not been buyer friendly
My opinion when we were on our heater was that I didn’t want a big trade because I thought anything that interfered with our chemistry would be a mistake.
Now we’re kind of in a slump and it’s looking like a big move could be what we need. If we can find a way to replace Bjorkstrand with someone who can finish, that would be huge.

We definitely need a shake up and a center could be what we’re looking for but a decent center isn’t worth the price this year… defense is in the same boat. Wingers seem to be cheaper but we don’t really need them. I’m all for going out getting help but I really don’t think it makes sense to give up the farm to do it.

Idk atp we probably can’t predict who JBB will go for, although to an extent I trust whoever he trades for.

I keep a list in my notes app of players I’ve seen in the rumour mill or who might be unexpected JBB targets. Some guys I didn’t include cause I didn’t they were realistic or attractive targets, but I tried to be pretty thorough. I also have them tiered based on how much I want them or if it’s realistic, but those are subjective and have some explanation notes. It’s a long list:
My favourites, and could be semi available:
– Mercer
– Evangelista
– Graf – good two way righty on SJS, Sherwood might make him expendable maybe
– Nemec
They all either fill the RW2 role or future of the right D
Really want:
– Greene – promising two way player from CHI, where have I heard that before
– Cuylle
– Schneider – I like the age and its low risk. If he’s performance doesn’t improve here we scratch him and move in the off season since he’s RFA
– Whitecloud – good contract, good vet player, should cost less then Weegar
– Rinzel – not NHL proven but would love in a prospect swap
Good budget adds:
– Cody Glass – good for faceoffs and effort bottom 6
– Acciari – grit + faceoffs
– Teddy Blueger
– Linus Karlsson (add today, how could I predict him, but he seems like a diamond in the rough)
– Pachel or Barron – both youngish, 3rd pairing defensive RD
– Giroux – assumes he’ll waive he’s NMC
Want, but unrealistic/lacking proper assets to get
– Kyrou
– Thomas
– Konecny
– Hronek
– Fox
– Wright – SEA looking for scoring
– Weegar (traded)
Want, but probably not available:
– Samoskevich – great cap hit + control but FLA likely doesn’t trade with us
– Foerster – out for the season
– Voronkov
– Marchenko – and lack assets
– Forsberg – lack assets
– Kent Johnson
Kind of want, but for none hockey related reasons:
– Stamkos – sentiment and he’s a legend here, faceoffs
– Taylor Raddysh – unite the Raddysh’s, increase chance Darren resigns, decent 4th liner too
Would like, but not my favourite or poor fit:
– Bourque – DAL not sellers, would cost a roster player
– Tippett
– Perfetti – don’t really need another small lefty but I like the player
– Garland – the size and contract concern me long term
– Coleman – loved him, but can’t see the cap working and rightes are preferred
– Drysdale – concerned about defensive ability
– Pageau
– Roy – great faceoff and bottom 6 guy, but are other alternatives for that which cost less imo
– Tolvanen
– McMann
– Kovacevic
– Kesselring

Would like but the cost is probably too high:

This probably just guarantees it won’t be any of these players though. But none the less some players to think about
I would LOVE to get Linus Karlsson after looking into him. Maybe give bjork back and free up some cap and do a second move.
