So Dom’s season is over. That fucking sucks. I love that kid and was pumped to see what he could do in a playoff atmosphere. I thought we were set for the trade deadline but now we Def need to bring someone in.

Damn, James has been so damn good all season. Here’s to hoping for a speedy recovery.

he’s gonna be out for half the playoffs

8 weeks is a 4/30 return. Would be awesome if he was back in time for the second round!

  6. Hell of a rookie season for James. Making it on a roster like ours takes something special and the kid has tons of potential. Hoping for a speedy recovery

Really unfortunate news about James but getting Gage back at least will be big. Forward depth is really thin right now, but if we can get Gage and Nick Paul back (what is going on with him?) and maybe add a guy at the deadline, we should be able to roll a pretty solid 12 man group

Damn I knew it was bad for DJ. Legs aren’t supposed to bend that way..

James will be out until the 2nd round maybe. Jbb has to do everything he can to load up the middle/bottom 6

**Both Conclaves & James have been difference makers this year**

    * Glad Conclaves will be back but losing James stinks.
    * The youthful energy/speed these younger players brought has been HUGE this season.
    * We’ll see how it goes, but Lightning don’t know what they’ve got after 50+ games. That’s kinda scary!
    * The line-up that went 20-1-1 is no more + Losing James & Conclave might make overall team speed even lower = Might put more fore-checking pressure on Lightning D-men & line changes will become slower also. All those time-factors added up will cause Lightning turnovers & have them chasing game more than not.
    * New line-up has a short time to figure it out….

Not my boy James, he’s been so fun to watch!

Ight we’re gonna need to pick up another middle six forward at the deadline

Noooo DJ has been incredible for us. Hopefully he has a speedy recovery.

Hell of a rookie season but I’d shut him down for the year. He’s not (yet) the difference between cup and no cup imo so I’d rather him rest and be good to go for next year vs risking re-injuy

Well… On the bright side that free up some cap space we can use at trade deadline

  16. Losing James is a lot bigger deal than many might realize. Brought a lot of speed to the lineup and was growing as a player as this season went on. Have to figure he would not be fully ready to go by the ECF. Losing both him and Crozier really sucks – both guys are big contributors.

Bigger picture – this team can’t go out early in R1 again. JBB has to make a move tomorrow.

Ugh terrible for James and the team. JBB really needs to find a forward who can generate… we’re too thin on offensive generation right now (like it’s too concentrated, plenty of scoring, but it’s not spread out enough).

James was a huge reason that was fixed, and Gage getting back soon helps that but losing James mean’s we’re a forward injury away from being really badly stretched, and I’m sure is the reason Geekie is being given another shot.
