  1. So the Leafs basically turned Mitch Marner into a 1st and a 5th round pick. Asset Management Mastercards 😉

  2. This is an excellent return for Roy. That 2027 pick should be a first rounder as Colorado is a great team and will not fall in the bottom 10.

  3. Ok but that technically means not only did we get nothing for Mitch marner we got more for Roy than we did marner now if this 2028 first round pick (because Colorado isn’t going to suck for a while) becomes the next Connor mcdavid then we won both trades but right now Mitch marner left for literally nothing all for him to probably win a cup while the leafs are going to suck for a while

  4. Honeslty leafs fans will celebrate this as if they are gonna use this picks for good

  5. I'd like to think Nic Roy isn't too terribly disappointed going to the Avs.
He'll at least get to play with the same linemates for more than one game in a row.

  6. SELL SELL SELL. TANK TANK TANK. I have been a huge Devils and Flyers fan this week. Tonight I am a Rangers fan. GO RANGERS GO.

  7. Run it back Leafs. With the same ineptitude this year through next year. Ohh only with a couple 2028 draft picks for soothing purposes.
Trade treliving to the khl begging 🥺 plz.

  8. I will celebrate the leafs trades if at least half of the Marlies play the rest of the season on the Leafs to get seasoned. Please make it happen!

  9. So yeah it’s clear that contenders are learning from the panthers and adding top 10 protection to trades to make sure that if their best player gets injured and is out, that they won’t get screwed for a whole season.
