Douglas’ arc was early in the season, but he clearly was not a difference maker. Was willing to go, but never won. Sabourin can fill that role much better.

Just remember – Any Player on an NHL roster when the trade deadline passes is ineligible to be assigned to the AHL for the remainder of the season, including the ahl playoffs.

How Douglas lasted this is a complete mystery. He showed little to no ability – skates poorly, doesnt handle the puck well, doesn’t check particularly well, isn’t a nuisance player, and he’s not even a good fighter.
I was starting think JBB owed his father a debt or something.
He’s only attribute – extremely tall

Not too broken up about this one. Sabourin is ten times more noticeable than Douglas when they’re in the lineup

pretty sure it’s partially a procedural thing – there’s some deadline day clause in the CBA that means he doesn’t have to play 1 game before re-entering if he gets sent down within 24 hours of the deadline – and I can’t see anyone taking him – if they do, cool
