He said the same thing about Gibby, then he was out D to D

No offense to Todd, but I will believe Larkin is playing tomorrow when I see him in the pregame skate. Todd tends to be very optimistic about this kind of thing.

Larkin needs the maintenance days because he didn’t get any break like everyone else on the team did. Even Raymond and Seider got short breaks despite playing in the Olympics.
This doesn’t really feel like a matter of Todd assuming that everything is good and having to revise it later. For starters, he’s being asked about Larkin’s status the day after, not immediately after the game where the injury took place.

May have said the same thing about Gibby, but it does help Larkin came back out there during OT and looked fine.

That crosscheck was yet another example of what happens when opposing teams know there is zero chance of any accountability or retaliation.

He should probably take a couple of days.

This is one area where the NFL has it right. After game reviews and punishment.

They really need to stop letting blatant crosschecks to the back in front of the net go.

Cross check was egregious. Refs have no backbone; don’t care what game situation is that has to be called. Larkin could have suffered spinal injury or broken bone in his back given the force of the cross check
