  1. The team is full of winners, they don’t have gas in the tank this season to keep winning but they refuse to lay down and die.

  2. Stupid goalie interference 😒. They tried. Sell everyone 😅. See who wants to go on playoff team run. See if chucky wants to go to Ottawa 🤔. Barky and Jones should just slip on a pool noodle and extend the ltir.

  3. Pomo’s post game comments basically confirmed that Greer is gone. Hopefully for a defensive prospects but maybe a 2nd round pick.

I really like Bennett’s quote talking about how “This team is going to be really good for a long time. There’s light at the end of the tunnel, for sure”. That I can agree with all honesty. I really (all 5 really) doubt that Bob is getting traded unless which team that wants him like over pays by a country mile.

One thing that I’ll say is that drafting a young defense men that can play on the 3rd line and can eventually play top pair minutes will help this core a lot.

  4. I don't know why you keep calling for the team to get some rest, they're clearly getting all the rest they need out there on the ice. Seriously I've never seen a team more Adept at sleep hockey

  5. Hey Jaws Let’s go Red Wings back to back if Lightning doesn’t win the Atlantic n I don’t mind Detroit will win Atlantic bc they are 3 points behind

  6. This may be an unpopular opinion, but I'm fine with trading Bobrovsky. I think is the most important thing to consider is, does Bobrovsky himself want to stay here and maybe retire? If the answer is yes, then I think we owe it to him to let him stay and retire or resign as a Panther. However, if he's gone to management and says he'd like to be traded to a contender, then I say go for it. I have no issue if he wants to try and cement the threepeat somewhere else. Where that would be I don't know. But that's my angle on that debate.

As for Greer and Boqvist. If we aren't going to resign Greer, then trading him is perfectly fine. I could see that as another Nate Schmidt situation where he gets paid by another team that isn't us in the offseason. Boqvist is fine as a depth piece, but his price tag makes me cringe. I'm impartial to Greer, but I do hope we trade Boqvist regardless of what we do with Greer. I'm fine with it being in the offseason. Give Boqvist more minutes now that we're basically cooked to try and increase his trade value for the offseason. We don't know that Zito hasn't been trying to trade him, but I imagine we may have to pay to get rid of him. Like how the Oilers had to send a first to dump the Mangiapane contract. If I'm a GM in the NHL right now, why would I take on that contract with what he's shown the whole year? Remember, he's getting paid 1.5 million next season as well.

Regarding the team as a whole, I'm embracing the tank. I don't think we'll be getting the first overall pick or anything like that, but I want to be within the top ten if possible so we can actually get a young guy. I think our biggest need is either defense or goaltending. I haven't seen any super high-end goaltenders in the draft the way Spencer Knight was back in 2019, so I'd want us to take a defenseman. I feel a right-handed d-man would be best to pair alongside Kulikov on the bottom pair (with Balinskis as 7D). This way our right side is set, and we don't need a revolving door of gambling on veterans for our defense. It's the same issue we've had with 4C (which is why I hope we keep Schwindt, but I digress). It would be nice to have a young guy there rather than constantly gambling on veterans. I think a realistic option would be Daxon Rudolph. He's having a solid season in the WHL. He has 74 Points in 68 Games and is a plus 24 with the Prince Albert Raiders. He's projected anywhere from about 9th – 14th currently. He's 6'2" 203 pounds so he's got some good size on him as well.

  7. Hey Jaws Why in the live stream for the Panthers fans they were concerned bout Boston vs Nashville when Panthers aren’t making the playoffs neither is Toronto

  8. We've become "the circus"!! HEY! The circus is in town let's go see the back to back champs!!! Then they skate around like clowns and people watch and point. Im rready for next season!! Bobs a goner. Go Panthers!!!

  9. After hearing Sam Bennett and Paul Maurice speak tonight, they know they are out of the playoffs. Like Sam said, they are still professionals and will continue to give it their all.

  10. Sorry I missed the ending of the game. I fell asleep. This long week wore me out. For that matter this abomination of a game wore me out. I guess I didnt miss much in the final few minutes of the 3rd eh? Ugly loss to Columbus tonight. It seems as if the players and even coaches are just done with the season. There's no heart, hustle, or effort in these guys. Heck I was talking about non hockey topics on the stream more than 90% of the time tonight; if we were a contending team this year I would not be doing that sort of thing. If that's the case, then so be it. We had a good run though. One Cup Two Cups etc etc. The core and talent of the team is still there but this is just not our year. I personally think that 1) The Olympics and the weeks leading up to the Olympics threw us off and 2) We were riding too high on winning the previous Cup AND the prospect of a 3rd straight Cup. Those jinxed everything. That's just me of course. As for what we will need to do in the offseason, I say let Zito do his work. I trust his process. He's a smart guy and is working with one of the best staffs in hockey. It's not going to be a complete rebuild. We just need to reload / retool / rethink some lines. We're not doing the Huizenga Marlins Fire Sales of 1997 and 2003. This is nowhere near those fire sales. Next year will be much better.
Side note: Thanks again Jaws and Kyle for a great stream despite the loss. It was nice to be back on a live game stream here for the first time in a while. Even if the Panthers dont make the playoffs (which is looking more and more likely), I'll still tune in to your guys' coverage. You're the best channel on YouTube for a reason.
By the way, last thing, we miss seeing Donna and Princess Leia on the streams. Hopefully we will see them again on camera before the season is over. We still love you guys. Have a good weekend. 🙂🏒🐯

  11. That's some funny stuff, Jaws. Great sense of humour, I wonder if Zito will go scorched Earth and load up on early picks. Prospect watching is kinda fun too.🤷
