Corey a surpassé les attentes au cours des deux dernières années. Non, les attentes n’étaient pas grandes, mais pour un 4e Liner au crépuscule de sa carrière, il a été plutôt efficace. Je ne vois aucune raison pour que cela change avec nous.
À Dieu ne plaise, quelqu’un d’autre est blessé. Par exemple, quelque chose arrive à Pointer et nous avons besoin de quelqu’un pour se tenir dans le pare-chocs du PP et rendre la vie des gardiens de but misérable. C’est Corey.

Note latérale : qui se soucie vraiment autant des choix au repêchage ? Comme quelqu’un l’a souligné, Gage est le deuxième joueur le plus performant qui a eu un grand impact.

He can play on the top PP unit so we probably don’t have to watch Bjork flub 8 cross ice Kuch setups a game. That’s well worth a 2nd on its own in my book

As long as this isn’t the only move, I won’t be mad at it, but this was not a good deal. You can say what you want about draft picks, but this guy’s not going to fix any of our problems, he’ll be gone after the season, and Minnesota’s gotten much better depth for way less. JBB’s gone 0/4 at the deadline since getting Hagel and Paul in 2022.
He also brings alot to the bench. He’s very vocal in getting all the players working on the same page. He’s like a playing coach/motivational speaker ☝️🥸
I think this right now is the most important factor. Plus, his chirp game is funny AF 🤣
He ain’t not Jaromir Jagr , haha, but will do for now hopefully he’ll make an impact.
I feel it was another overpayment for him . Yes he fits the system but JBB has traded extra for some lower tier players.
We hated him in Anaheim, Dallas and Montreal. But it’s honestly fun to think about him being back with us. With Nick Paul and Dominic James on IR, it makes sense to bring in a guy that irritates the opposing team like a hemorrhoid that just won’t go away. And like everyone else that comes to the Lightning, he likes it here.

He’s got 28 points in 50 games, thats pretty good for a bottom 6 guy. We need depth more than top end talent, tad bit of an overpay. but good player, veteran proven playoff guy and knows the team and system. Solid b+ trade. Hope there’s more to come though.
