  1. It's about time, but not complaining. This seems to be a good fit. They also traded away Soderblom, so let's see who takes his place.

  2. High price but worth it. The extra cap room this summer without Holl will remove the sting of losing a first. If he can be competitive and keep his level of play the next two seasons it’s probably better for the timeline too. Would have rather had Connor Murphy for a 2nd tho.

  3. We gave up a lot but it has to be done to obtain quality. Faulk has a really nice game and is tough-nosed like Ben

  4. A first round pick, Soderblom, Holl, and Buch. I'm fine with all of it except Buch. That really sucks. It's best to wait until Free Agency when you can sign them for nothing but a cap hit. I'd rather have traded Danielson!!!

  5. I have to wonder how terrible his offer to get Quinn Hughes was, because this trade cost a lot.

  6. It was needed. People wanted him to buy and he did! Team is upgraded regardless of what you think of Faulk. He is instantly our 3rd best Dman. I don’t understand how people are freaking out over this trade!

  7. Paying a 1st, Holl, Elmer Healthyscratch and Buchneverleavingrussia seems decent for a clear upgrade on our defense. Here's hoping it works out.

  8. I'm glad he finally made the trade.. but giving up Dimitri I think we could have went a different route. Sergei fedorov said he was a very fast north-south sniper.

  9. Really don't like losing Buchelnikov. I've been watching that guy's career online for three years and couldn't wait to see him in camp with the Wings. Love getting Faulk – but the price was steep. Make no mistake about it.

  10. Wtfffff we gave up Buchenikov????????? In a couple of years when Buch is Kucherov lite I will never let idiot fans like this who beat the drums so heavy for SY to make a trade JUST TO MAKE A TRADE forget this. You are treasonous fans as far as Im concerned.

  11. One of the dumbest trades ever. Give up all that for basically a 1 year rental on an average player that m’s past his prime. And now Larkin’s hurt, so it’s even dumber.

  12. And Larkin goes down, we miss the playoffs, finally win the lottery, St. Louis picks McKenna, total trade ends up being Holl, a 3rd, Buchelnikov, and McKenna for Faulk. Buch and McKenna; become the next power duo in the NHL for the next 15 years. I'm in doom and gloom mindset now. 😰

  13. I like the Faulk trade..but missing out on a generational talent such as Hughes was a huge mistake…having Hughes, Mo, Edvinson for a stretch of 7-10 years creates a dynasty..especially when you lock up Razor & Mo for what would be considered pennies on a dollars in the future

  14. The fact Steve still sat on his a#$ and did nothing for the OFFENSIVE ISSUES IS RIDICULOUS! there is no fricking reason he couldn't have got someone! I'm starting to lose faith in him smh

  15. I was expecting the toixc positivity take. Nice job giving an unprotected first and a prospect for a 34 year old. Holland'esq trade. The instant gratification crowed gets like 2 weeks of dopamine and 10 years of a worse team
