    And to think TB had their full line up, Sabres still waiting on 3 of the 4 players they traded for due to Visa hold ups. Stanley, Pearson and Schenn will be another layer to this team when they begin playing.

    Sabres hit Rock bottom this season on December 8th. They were on a 3 game losing streak and lost 5 of their last 7. Last in the conference, 3rd last in the league in the standings. Negative 16 goal differential. 11 wins and 18 losses (11-14-4).
    Since then, 28 wins, 7 losses (28-5-2) with a plus 47 goal differential over those 35 games. Thats a 136 point pace over almost half a season after starting out as one of the worst teams in the league.

    Remember, Buffalo was the #1 market in terms of Olympic hockey viewership. This is a crazy passionate hockey market. So happy to be part of this fanbase, throughout the ups and downs!

    Sabres fan in St Petersburg….I went to the game, in Tampa, a week ago. (Which I do every year when the Sabres come to town) What a fun game!

    I actually stopped watching the Dallas Stars game, and watched the rest of the Buffalo last night. That was a highly entertaining game, and I will say that was the game of the year so far.

    Season ticket holder here. I am still high from being at the game last night. Havent felt this good about the sabres as long as I can remember.

    People outside of Buffalo don’t understand how much we love hockey here. We’ve been begging to cheer for our Sabres for 14 years. That’s why last night was so incredible. I’ve been to 5 games a year through the entire drought. It’s been awful. Not a single memorable game the entire time. I was there last night and it was the greatest sporting event I’ve ever been to.

    Difference about not winning the fights is that last year, no one would of stood up for anyone else. Thompson got leveled and the entire team was embarrassed they did nothing. You have to stand up for your teammates even if you do not think you can win.
