As a Flyers fan, you are not wrong about Briere and the mediocre-ness of his tenure. It is ridiculously frustrating.
Barkey, bonk, brink would never exist seeing Bonk is a defensemen. The Philly take show how much you don’t pay attention to the Flyers. Bring is not what you think he is. I am a huge brink fan but to act like he’s a physical beast he is not. He is defensive responsible, hard worker, good vision, with a good hockey IQ. I think you could even argue that he has been Michkov’s best linemate this year.
The Flyers have other Brink’s though I expect Alex Bump or Porter Martinez to step into those spots. If Jiricek hits it a great move if he at least becomes serviceable it’s almost a wash

good trade for both teams. Happy as a Flyer fan to get Jiricek, but Brink is a very good player….sees the ice and passes very well, has a good handle, can shoot and doesn't hesitate to fight for pucks on the boards and is a tenacious forechecker. Minnesota should be thrilled to be getting him….very underrated player and he will continue to get better.

The Western Conference this season is the poster child for changing this ridiculous playoff format.
I don't know why fans haven't collectively taken up the cause to insist on a return to the rational seeding.
As it turns out, I had hoped that the Flyers would have taken Jiricek in his draft year, not realizing that the team had a decent read on Cutter Gauthier.
So, I'll be curious to see how he develops, and if he can learn to skate his way to relevance. But that shot from the point would be a nice asset.

Tbh Quinn Hughes trade made Jiricek situation different for the Wild so im cool trading him bc he just couldnt crack the lineup

Adam is so stuck on Jiricek just because he's a client of his friend, Walsh. He's bad. Wild fans all over reddit have been saying "we're free, we can stop pretending he was gonna get better!" He can't skate and has refused to learn defensive positioning, so he ends up out of position and unable to catch up, so he takes loads of dumb stick penalties.
Jiricek is a bust. Just come to terms with it.
