Steve, I know it's been a tough year, and the "feels" sometimes take over. No, Cowan did not score in the shootout, that is your memory playing tricks on you. Cowan did get the second try in the shootout, but he shot it wide just like Tage did on his first attempt. Kudos to the Leafs for giving Cowan the chance however.

I was saying this with my Ranger buddies. Tanking in the east is impossible so long as the Pacific exists, like we're last in the east (Still, even after 4 straight wins and a pretty good record since coming back from the olympics (6-1-2) so we were never gonna get 1OA and probably not 1-3, we're still a lottery team though so I guess it's possible.
