Sure sucks we got 3 points tho last week from a draft pick standpoint, but I’ve genuinely enjoyed watching the team again and flipping the “cupboards are bare narrative”. Both groulx, Cowan, and quillan are showing they are NHL caliber players, which means we have some semblance of a pipeline and that rest/a full offseason could do us good!

**15 games** remaining for the Leafs. *Regulation losses* are critical for this final stretch. I know they can’t just lose every one of those 15 games, but they need to make a solid push to be in the bottom 5. That still doesn’t guarantee them anything as a higher seeded team could bump them via a lottery win, but it’s still they best chance.

*sigh* This is what will happen: Leafs will end up 5th from the bottom and everyone will cheer that we will get a pretty good player coming, considering its a very deep draft. Then on draft lottery day, a higher seeded team will win the lottery and push the Leafs up one spot to 6th, which of course goes to the Bruins 🙁
