There is no debate, it’s Seider by a landslide. He has been the only consistently great player of the group throughout the entire season.

Silly to even discuss this with how many games are still left.

Let’s see who is left standing and where we are when it’s all said and done first. Plenty of time for somebody to step up and make a huge impact or fall off the map all together.

But really the only candidates to this point are Gibby and Mo. and each has helped the other look even better.

ADB made a strong case for it early in the season. He’s still been consistently very good, but his play/production have both dropped off a little bit from the elite first couple of months.

Gibson the opposite. Bad early, December hit and he’s been a huge part of carrying the team. Can argue every night that he’s the single biggest factor in whether we have a chance to win or not because his position has that level of potential. Play dropped a tiny bit after the break but he’s still been good.

The only true answer is Seider. The difference between Mo and Gibby is that Mo is on the ice every single night and has been ridiculously consistent. His offensive numbers have dropped off a bit from that stretch where he was throwing himself in the MVP of the league conversation, but he’s a top 5 defenseman in the whole league and arguably the most complete two-way defender in the game. The consistency is what really gives him the edge over everyone else.

The end of the season is the MVP, because I’m sick of this constant trainwreck
