  1. I love how this incident is always laughed at and used more for comedy purposes. Yet the Malice at the Palace in 2004 is regarded as "the worst night in NBA history", when they're literally the same thing lol.

  2. And yet the media always says the Malice at the Palace was way worse with Ron Artest going into the stands and Pacers players fighting Pistons fans…..

  3. Happy Anniversary! Remember this well. Gotta love OLD TIME hockey. Straight outta Slap Shot. LOL McNab absolutely would have destroyed that guy he yanked down like a ragdoll. And Peter was a Lady Byng type. Never a fighter but you just knew he was tuiff because he was big. Kind of wished he lost his temper like that more and dropped them. Of course he didn't have to with the guys on that team. If not for the dreaded Habs back in those days…… O'Reilly, Secord, Wensik, McCrimmon, Jonathan, Bob Miller, Dick Redmond, Milbury,….There were some fighters on that team back then. And most of them could play a bit too. Love hearing the old Bruins Channel 38 opening song and even more so,….. LOVE hearing Fred Cusick and Johnny Peirson. Those were the days. Great memories as a kid.

  4. Funny the Rangers were just watching, not trying to help their fans getting the poop kicked out of them.

  5. I spent an afternoon having beers in an East Norton, Pa bar with one of these Bruins (Bob Miller), the way he told the story was hilarious!!! Glad I wasn't wearing my Rangers jersey…..great guy to talk with.

  6. lol.I couldn't get enough of that when it happen back on Christmas eve of Christmas eve in 1979.O'Reilly naturally led the charge and then the rest of the soldiers followed.Even Dave Schultz never had that type of warrior moment like that.Again with a big. lol.

  7. I loved it seeing these punks get beat by the Bad Boston Bruins, they both desereved it, how sweet Karma works.

  8. I was watching that game. It's funny how the fans act tough and when the Bruins go in they all run away. Real tough.

  9. amazing the different reactions to this and the malice at the palace……

  10. You gotta love the enthusiasm. Passion is the key to a great life.

  11. Wow – the Bruin players climbed over the glass as if there was free beer.
