I remember a few years ago I made an excel spreadsheet of every teams last 40 & 50 goal scorers and ppg and 100 point players. It was, to say the least, enlightening just how few teams had such long droughts without one. LA had gone 30 years without one too until Kempe scored 40 a couple years ago. We had the longest streak without a 40 goal guy. Even Seattle and Vegas had one more recently. But that’s finally over.

TIL that a Canadien has never actually been awarded the Rocket Richard Trophy. It would be very cool to see Caufield be the first and quite fitting as Maurice and Cole are similarly built.
