1. I hope the Winnipeg Jets get a Top 3 pick mainly hope for the 1st overall; Like I mentioned in another video like months back The Jets is my favorite Canadian based sports team and I hope nothing but the best for them

  2. I’m in the same boat as you. My friends are calling me a bad fan for not wanting to keep winning but let’s be real here, we are NOT beating any playoff team in a best of 7 series. I’d much rather secure the potential star player for our future than another embarrassing playoff bounce.

  3. Pushing for playoffs rn could really screw us in the long term. To me the choice is blatantly obvious. We have to tank

  4. Agree 100%. Last night was basically the season. If they can't get 2 points from the Preds, they're not going far. We need young stars. We need faster talent.

  5. I already have said this in December. They need young star talent and high draft picks to get Jets over the hump. They will not win the cup with the players they have. It’s a waste to JUST MAKING it and what for? They will get booted out in first round then ULTIMATELY lose out on TOP 5 DRAFT PICKS. It’s dumb. Jets are old they’ve been riding this same core guys and it hasn’t gotten them closer to a cup. TIME FOR CHANGE!!!!! Need top picks!!! See the bug picture people

  6. The Jets were an amazing at the end of 2018. Since then there have been some huge subtractions (Buff, Little, Ehlers) and no player development. They struggled to fill these rolls and have simply failed to develop any of their prospects to fill those rolls. They have also made a significant number of misses in the drafting department. They managed to put together 2 great seasons in there, which were awesome, but they occured at the expense of any further development and did not lead to the kind of playoff dominance we saw in 2018 (which was arguably the deepest and strongest team the Jets put on the ice). They need to put all their prospects in the lineup, any borderline vet that isn't going to improve any more should sit (Nyquist, Koepke, Miller and Fleury)….and if that means they fall in the standings….good. They will achieve 2 things, better draft picks and with a little luck some prospects may turn into the players they need for next year (and if they don't….they really didn't lose anything but a few games, cause those vets, as much as I like them, are not moving up the development ladder as they are closer to NHL retirement than a sudden breakout season).

  7. The jets aren’t tanking. Yeah there most likely outcome is a top 5 pick but “tanking” isn’t on the table. Especially if the teams we are chasing keep losing

  8. Even if we didn't get a top 2 pick for Stenburg or McKenna. Having either Chase Reid or Keaton Verhoeff with Salomonsson at RD, would give us such an elite right side on D. Top 4 RHD are probably the hardest position to fill, and we'd have 2 elite ones

  9. It has been since mid January, but our management is beyond out of touch. If they had any balls, they'd separate Scheif and Connor and see what they have. Im tired of hearing that Connor (12mil/yr) cant play without Scheif. Try it and see whos right
