Team had no finish , no forecheck , no physicality and for the most part looked confused on how to play

I don’t expect him to put his minute munching vet dman on public blast, but that non chalant attitude when we are desperately fighting for a playoff spot is not a good look. That play *cannot* happen. It’s unacceptable.
Matheson makes a ton of mistakes, and bad ones
“We played a good game” is so delusional. There were so many mistakes defensively…I know 90% of this sub worshipped Marty, so if he’s isn’t the problem like you say…You gotta put a lot of blame on Robidas. It’s been bad all year.
Quotes like this are such an obvious sign of lack of accountability on his own staff. This wasn’t a good game for them. Such a large portion of this sub are convinced we’re going to the playoffs, which is slipping away btw, but even if we made them….Our defensive system is one of the worst in the NHL. We’re going to get bounced quickly if things don’t improve….guys were in fucking March!
They infact did not play a good game. No 5 on 5 goals and only 1 goal scored.
Matheson needs to make less bonehead plays man.
Its always a bad bounce with Matheson. He gets so much excuses.
He’s a nepo-hire, Hughes has a soft spot for him and so does MSL (Or MSL plays him because Hughes likes him so much.) He needs to go.
Was at the game, Habs controlled most of the game, but the play by Matheson, cmon buddy, just protect the puck and make the simple play please (my beef with him is usually his insistence on stick handling on the penalty kill… Dude just clear the puck ), he fucked around and found out on the play tonight. Mistakes happen, we move on.

He fucked up. He knows it. We know it. He’s also played some very good hockey for us this season… probably too much, which is why he’s making mistakes like this one.
Eventually Hughes will sort out our D situation, Matheson will get fewer minutes, and we’ll win a Cup.
