Not to be mean, and if you are truly this optimistic don’t let me be a buzzkill, but all these posts scream Copeium.
Like we have zero top end prospects in the system, we have maybe a couple of B level prospects. If we bomb and get McKenna sure it might turn things around, but that also requires developing him correctly and not sticking him on the 4th line. We have Canes pick which will be at the end of the round so at best it’s a year or two to work out. We have Chris Drury who doesn’t know how to build a team, next year we are going to have cap space to burn which means expect Laine and about 10 million for Alex Tuch. With the weak East there is a chance of making a WC next year which probably means the prospects we do have will be traded to try and bring in someone at the deadline. So I just don’t see the optimism.

Listening to Vince this morning about how Sullivan yanked GP from PP1 just to reinsert a washed vet doesn’t give me much hope.
