Basically « If they play better I will play them more »

I would like to see them juggle the top two lines around some. I feel like demi and kapenen aren’t as effective together right now

ok, I’ll l say it. Newy is dragging the two lads down. He’s all legs and no hockey sense. At best a fourth liner….on Vancouver.

    Namaste

Can we separate kappy from Demi? No disrespect to kappy he’s having a great season but I feel he hold Demi back when Cole was out Demi looked phenomenal I think switching it up should be worth a try

If it’s really going that bad, I’d like to see the coach shuffle his lines instead of just benching the kids. In an important game, tied, you want Demidov on the ice.

Gotta give the Evans and Danault line as much ice time as possible, it’s worked out great since the Olympic break!

What Marty can’t see is that Newhook’s north south approach vs Slaf’s stick on puck with composure are two very different styles.

Demidov needs possession. Slaf gives them that.

Like Jake Evans? The guy who misses open nets?

I love MSL, but I think it’s ridiculous that we’re at game 69 and we’ve never seen Demidov with another center than Kapanen.

im just very tired of not splitting up caulfield and suzuki as if our hands are tied with that. Yes they play well together but if we could split them up we could at least see the potential depth we have available. Yes we need a proper third line player too who can help enable that more but it seems like other players are not getting lifted either.

At the end of the day, there’s no good centre for Demidov.

Marty it’s not about players playing better , it’s about your system that you have them playing and it’s not working , cuz other teams can defend against it.
