  1. Can we take a minute to recognize kastalic. What a machine out there you cant get a better 4th liner than that. He's the definition of what you want to see from someone like that with his role.

  2. I live in Michigan and yesterday I caught a bunch of trash talk from Red Wings fans. Today I will gloat in silence, a slight smirk on my face, a glint in my eyes, a savoir-faire attitude. This will get under their skin DEEP.

  3. I recall when Krug joined at end of season. He looked like a deer in the headlights in his first game. Then early in his second, he scored, and all the ‘lack of confidence’ drained out of him, and he looked great the rest of the way.

  4. Huge Dub, Swayman looking sharp, Geeks picking it up, Minten making plays, Pasta scoring goals, 4th line playing strong and more. Liking what I'm seeing.

  5. Red Wings choke at home in March! Go figure!! When you can’t score you can’t win!! Good win Bruins! Great insight! Love the pod!!!

  6. For the benefit of your average fan, can you go into depth about why it's tough for a young guy like Minten to play with a top ten player in the league like Pasta? Common sense would say it's easier. Love your show LQ! Go Beeeeessss

  7. Minton “So good at almost scoring” we used to say that about Geekie too… very excited to see where this guy goes

  8. Whoah Low Qual… just a couple notes here on this video. Lindholm's goal wasn't an easy 5-hole that Gibson should have stopped. Lindholm deserves more credit. That goal was actually pretty nifty. He sold this shot as a high glove, except he gave the puck a gentle push to just slide it right over the ice, and snuck it right below the right pad of Gibson. Gibson was moving his whole body up to take away room on the high glove side, and when Gibson realized that puck was actually going flat over the ice on his blocker side, it was too late. You can see him react instantly and tried to close his pad over it, but he had no chance. That was like a Tim Wakefield knuckleball. Most goalies are not going to be able to react fast enough to stop that puck, and Gibson was millimeters away from stopping it, so I give Gibson and Lindholm both credit. This is the Elias Lindholm that we need him to be. There's clearly some talent there, and I wish to hell that we saw more of it! I don't know what Lindholm's deal is. Why can't he do this more often?!?! So frustrating!

I also want to add that Zadorov deserves more credit for his goal as well. You are making it sound like Zadorov had no business scoring that goal. Again, that was a really good shot from Zadorov. He's a giant with a giant stick, and goalies aren't used to this. The way the puck leaves the blade of the stick of someone like Zadorov compared to a normal size player is different and hard to judge. That was a nice, quick release from Zadorov, and he shot it perfectly when Edmundson's right leg moves between Zadorov and Gibson. Look at the replay. From Gibson's angle, he couldn't even see Zadorov release the puck. I'm not trying to defend Gibson or anything. I'm just saying that Zadorov and Lindholm earned those goals.

On another note… Reichel!!!! Need I say more?! I haven't seen speed like that on this team for a long time. Maybe since Samsonov? We've had fast players since then, but I don't recall a Bruins player that can turn up the speed this fast for a very long time. He makes DeBrusk look slow.

I am fucking impressed by what I witnessed last night. i haven't seen them play this well as a team since Bergeron retired. I'm not sure what the rest of you think, but I just watched our Bruins become a real team. A sea change just happened to this team. I'm an empath and I can sense things like this. Call me stupid and call me crazy. That's fine, I get it. I sound foolish, but the proof will be in the rest of the season. You will see a different team on the ice from this day going forward. These are my win/loss prediction from the remaining games, in order from Tuesday vs Toronto:

    W
    W
    L OT
    W
    L
    W OT
    W

  10. I am no hockey expert and penalties mystify me sometimes but i thought i knew what a hook was until that call and the announcer reinforcing it. Good to know im not totally ignorant.
    Go B's❗️❗️❗️

  11. Not mentioned was how dominant the 4th line looked. I think the Bs are at their best when they can just roll the lines.

  12. Sway was in the zone, last night! Clearly #1 star of the game. I even appreciated his after-game interview where he credited the Bruins management for boosting the team's enthusiasm by sitting pat at trade deadline. Team spirit is running all the way through the organization right now!

  13. Low Qual, I want your opinion on this. Im really torn about this season. Of course we want to see the Bs win, but do the underlying numbers of this team worry you at all anymore? At this point we are at a 45.84 goal differential above expected, which is by far 1st in the league. In 2nd place is the Avalanche at 36.63, but they are the best team in the league, and at 3rd is the Sabres at 27.62. Our expected goal differential is bottom 5 in the NHL. We are 29th in high danger chances for and 27th in medium danger chances for, and give up the 4th most high danger and 4th most medium danger chances.

This just doesn't seem like a consistent winning recipe. I really feel like this year has the potential to delay the window of contention and that this team should be picking in the lottery. If the leafs pick slides up into the top 5, and we don't get the Panthers pick until 2028, then what.

  14. How do we truly feel about Hagens getting in the mix? I’m obviously excited but also a little nervous. I don’t think we are winning a cup boys that’s pretty clear I think we can all agree so I think getting in the playoffs as much as I would like to see him get experience there is a part of me that doesn’t want him to get hurt and risk interrupting a big summer before his true first year and rookie season . Go Bs ! Much love lowquallll!
