I made one like this on the circle jerk sub with osama bin Ladens face over burkys. Frondell will play with Bedard but the kicker is Ryan Green is being moved down, blashill just hinted at that in his presser. I don’t want to be negative about a coach in his first year but it’s clear Andre burakovsky doesn’t operate by the same rules everybody else does. If I were in that locker room I would be pissed that there’s guys being scratched or moved down the lineup to make room for other guys coming in but Burky has given this team nothing in months and he still plays first line. It’s unfair to green who’s going to be moved down to the third line despite being so much better than Burky not to mention he’s a righty and Frondell is a lefty so it would just make more sense in a vacuum with no context provided to move Burky down for Frondell, or put him in the press box for fucks sake.

Greene gets bumped down because Burakovsy has the higher offensive upside unfortunately.
The reality is that Greene isn’t a first line player. He’s a 3rd or 4th line player. But he can win battles and hasn’t been a turnover machine like Burakovsky has been.

So, with the probability that once Frondell joins, he’ll be on a line with Bedard and Burky, what do we think that will look like based on how we’ve seen Frondell play? Burky turnovers will still happen, but in what way can Frondell sort of mitigate that? Do we think there will just be more intermediary passing between the three but mostly between Bedard and Frondell with Frondell hopefully winning more board battles and having better puck protection, and one of the two finishes/shoots the puck if we have a good scoring chance? Maybe I’m doing a bad job at wording this question, but I’m trying to keep hope and figure out how Frondell’s talent can somewhat offset Burky’s liability.
