Draft picks are nice but Edmonton had 9 #1 draft picks in 15ish years all played together all Fizzled Out McDavid Yamamoto Ryan Nugent Hopkins etc etc etc 0 cups.. lets be honest how many cups did "THE NEXT Gretzky get in Buffalo (Eichle) Edmonton (McDavid) all the way back to "Sid the Kid" and Ovi… how many cups they produce? If you get your shot you need to take it! Confident lap, great gesture from CB to kill the nevers and drop Anton right into it. And then he delivers a great pass for a great goal and starts off with a win. Lets see how long he takes to adjust to the speed and if he will stay for more tha ten games or whether he will be sent to the AHL – but with a start like that I hope he becomes a fix. Anton in his crossovers reminds me of Connor McDavid. His feet are very narrow, the lean angle is a lot, and he just seems to cross like him.
Bra debut i NHL med jetlag och stryk av Malmö i åttondelsfinalen i bagaget. Det var flyg direkt över pölen från Köpenhamn. Bra gjort.
