  1. they're likely one of the top teams this year but they still have to make it past the oilers to be a cup contender. I'm not sold they can, mostly due to markstrom. great goalie but edm seems to have his number. it wasn't just the playoffs, they did it to him in the regular season too

  2. The moves Calgary made this summer benefit the Cnucks big time. I take Kadri anyway over playing against Tkachuk. Huberdeau and Guadreau a wash. Anyone think Kadri does well without Makar and McKinnon? Huberdeau makes Miller's contract look like a steal. I bet Huberdeau gets 85 pts and Kadri gets 55 tops. I wouldn't even be surprised if Huberdeau struggles under Suter as a coach. All aside we will know mid November.

  3. Is it possible to get entire podcasts of just sports interaction adds? That’s really all I come for anyway. Gotta get those gambling dollars. So what if it ruins lives as long as you get paid.

  4. No. Kadri doubled his ppg production last year from the prior 7 years, he will revert back to the player he is, which is a mid level player. JH will most likely never come close to what he did last year in Florida. There's almost zero chance Calgary does as well as they did last year.

  5. It's kinda odd how a hockey channel like sdpn ignores a huge portion of this years offseason moves. Calgary has made some big moves but so have alot of other teams. Like I get it, Ottawa's your rival but they've made the MOST moves of any team this past offseason, as well as arguably the 2nd biggest moves. Kinda lost some respect for you guys and your aversion to talking about teams not named Toronto, Montreal and Calgary.

  6. Kadri wanted to remain a Leaf, but the Leafs didn’t want to keep him. Exercising the no-trade was almost pointless.

Going to Calgary now because it’s the only team offering him retirement money.

  7. It’s all about can huberdeau be as good again as he was last year cause if they extended him and he turns into a 70 point player then the flames will start to lose same with kadri but at 7 million I’m not expecting gold from kadri

  8. The Flames are 100% better! JH was and always has been a weak player. Chucky is a very selfish player! The 3 that came back… exactly the opposite! GO FLAMES GO!

  9. It’s all going to come down to Markstrom. I doubt either Kadri or Huberdeau repeat their seasons from last year. But it doesn’t really matter. It all comes down to goalie and team defence under Sutter.

  10. eric francis is the exact opposite of positive. he tried to run Gaudreau out of cgy every year he was there

  11. I would say they're better because the Johnny goudreau version of the Flames did good in the regular season but fell apart during the playoffs now we have proven players that will do well in the playoffs so hopefully we could go farther in the playoffs and hopefully get the cup

  12. I'm hoping that the ''main attraction'' in the West is the rivalry between Calgary & Edmonton (yes yes we know Colorado is probably tops, but it would be cool if Alberta was the REAL story this coming season)…

  13. Calgary got much older.
If flame fans think Kadri will seriously put up more than 60 points a year, they are delusional as leaf fans.
He's 32, and never broke 60 before this season. Lmao

  14. Imagine if toronto still had Kadri… They might actually be cup contenders… Oh well…
