Lilleberg is fine, bjorkstrand is the one we should all want gone.

I like Lilli. He needs to mature as a player and stop taking so many penalties. His play has been better, much less turnovers and he’s not afraid to dust it up when necessary. I’d like to see him keep shooting more

Lilleberg isnt bad, it’s just that when he’s injured, it shows, otherwise he’s decent for a lower pairing dman.
Not too happy about the penalty minutes but our pk is still elite

That’s great, but he needs to stay out of the penalty box, especially come playoff time

Lilleberg is great. Does he take unnecessary penalties yes, however at this point Vasey is probably the only one on the team who hasnt. Is he top tier not yet, but he has definitely stepped up his game.

I kind of don’t want to face MTL in the 1st round

Can’t lie. I really hated Lilleberg last year and at the very beginning of this year, but he completely flipped the switch earlier in the year before he got hurt. I was worried about him playing poorly coming back from the injury, but it looks like he picked right back up where he left off. I guess this is why I am not a GM lol. I didn’t see it at all. Now the issue is what the hell do we do with Hedman if/when he comes back. I like all of our current pairs and all three of them seem to have good chemistry together

This sub is wonderful with revisionist history. Lilleberg stunk for an entire year defensively and was not held accountable for horrible puck management/poor decision making because he was given the « still figuring it out » shield, meanwhile Raddysh (who was superior to him in every way the last three years) was getting scratched.
Playing on the right and not having to pretend to be a tough guy is why he’s improved, in addition to gaining experience. That, plus lineup competition.
The shit talked about his sophomore year play was justified, as is the praise and plaudits now. But, by the numbers this year is also the first where he’s not been a net negative in terms of xG.
23/24 5v5 xG%-44.3
24/25 5v5 xG%-47.4
25/26 5v5 xG%-52.4
For comparison’s sake, Raddysh has never dipped below 50% xG since he was first called up.
