1. MM39 has great vision & IQ. But his hands need work to cut unforced turnovers. He will never be better than an average skater and he will need to correct posture & stride to get there. He is NOT the make-or-break guy for team success.

  2. Everyone’s betting the Flyers future on Michkov like he’s the next Sidney Crosby. Yes he can make plays and generate offense, but he’s not the pivotal generational talent everyone seems to think.

  3. He’s already 2nd in P/60 in his draft class. He scores at an incredible efficiency, and when his coaching staff stops giving him usage like a 3rd line grinder the casuals will see how good he actually is.

  4. Hold your Beers and Mimosas and Latte' because next season after a full workout summer Matvei will shut his critcs and we will have the receipts.

  5. Michkov needs a line built around him. He’s not a slot in and play player. He’s not fast and never will be but he’s shifty and strong for his size. Needs another winger who can win board battles and a center who’s strong on the puck

  6. Detroit and Ottawa are both about to lose and the islanders play Carolina tonight if we win tomorrow we could be the 3 seed in the division

  7. I’m proud of the flyers what they’ve done lately ‘ hope they can make playoffs’ with the young kids that are coming up big they have a bright future

  8. Saturday in the NHL;
    Senators
    Islanders
    Blue Jackets
    Red Wings
    Bruins ALL LOSE
    Perfect! Couldn’t have asked for a better off day, hopefully the Bruins are tired and the Flyers young legs can make the difference.

  9. He takes dumb penalties and commits costly turnovers all over the ice in all zones. Yes he needs to play but yes he needs to improve on defense and turnovers.

  10. Michkov needs to NOT be 25th in the league in forward penalty minutes…. Might help his ice time numbers. Might also help his team if they can stay out of the box too, or if Matvei can start really working on his 200 foot game. Doesn’t matter who plays with him, he needs to be accountable and start working on his game and stop taking so many penalties and start drawing more penalties while defending the puck.

  11. Best part of Martone coming was the fact that now the media can do their real job and cover the TEAM instead of talking about the same player every damn day – or so I thought!
