Congrats of the 6K subs Stephen…you've earned it….by the way you have the arrow on your video thumbnail pointing to the wrong Leaf trade option…should be turned toward Muzzin..LOL….I know you don't like the idea of trading Muzzin but for the exact reason that he has not been reliable for us for the last 2 playoffs is why i would trade him….i know he's the kind of guy you want in the playoffs but he has not been there….and is kinda strggling this year….what if we shipped him to Edmonton who is looking for a D man and pursued Chychrun (i know….i am still on that) and then to address the 4th D beside Chychrun we could trade let's say Holl and a pick to Ducks for Manson with retained salary? ….would leave us with Dermott & Liljegren as 3rd pair D as Sandin would probly be included in the deal to Arizona….just did an arm chair GM and the D looked really good.

The Leafs HAVE to make a move soon. If im not mistaken , do they even have room to bring Marner off LTIR? Im a huge FAN of Sandin. I just dont think hes ready for 3-4 rounds of playoffs. I really like the Giordano potential rumors to toronto. , If they can get Seattle to retain 50%, then get another team to retain 25% like they did with Foligno. Giordano would take up just as much room as a minimal contract-1M come trade deadline no? They will still need to upgrade the Right side as well. but I really think they need to move out some salary. Mikheyev I believe will be on the way out. replace him with a 900k thats 800k extra move out Holl , get some salary retained , Mikheyev and Holls Salary will bring back a pretty good defenceman for the right side.
Giordano can shoot on the PP, He can play up in the lineup if Muzzin gets hurt. Leadership. has played really well with brodie if you end up pairing them. theres just so many upsides to Gio Trade i really wanna see it happen and it makes the most sense considering hes on an expiring deal.
The big question is do the leafs trade CAMPBELL at the deadline? If Mrazak plays real good down the stretch maybe they move Campbell because unless they trade away some roster players next year it will be impossible to resign him.
Holl is better than Dermott

Florida may be falling fast but they have that grit and toughness in the playoffs. And that's what counts the most. They play their hearts out and don't fold. And that's why I'm worried about playing them the most out of our division.

Your production rate is admirable. Your presentation. You mentioned a rumour as this rumour but it was not at all easily readable on your screen. But you just continue rapidly speaking and presenting too much cut and paste information that does not relate the main theme of your product of the day. You want to reach 6,000, 10,000 , 20,000 etc. you have the work rate and knowledge. You will not get there with your current presentation and/or organization of what you know. For example, those sweaters and the plant do nothing but take space that could be used to make your opinion more obvious. KISS it ( Keep It Simple Stupid) and be consistent. Study The Hockey Guy….you could exceed with some changes….and your major potenial competition ( Steve Dangle) is a fool…….STEP BACK PAUSE….THINK ABOUT THE TRAJECTORY YOU ARE ON……All this as I do like a lot what you do. The fact that Ritchie hasn’t panned out Is for me one of the biggest problems that needs to be fixed. Leafs have been beat by being out worked and out muscled and not just the Dmen the forwards were often beat and allowed their opponents to carry the play. All other team had to do is play first to the puck and battle in corners. When you win the races & battles you carry the play. When you carry the play you usually win the game !!! That is usually the only game plan against a team that is more skilled than you!!!

I'm sorry, but moving Holl or Dermot (both should be bottom pairing defensemen) to address cap issues is like putting a bandaid over a bullet wound and saying it's fine. Maybe…but for how long, and it won't solve the problem. And that problem is the Leaf's are cap heavy because they have a few players who are making too much money for too little value. Prime suspect? Jake Muzzin. Too slow, tendency to get injured at the worst time (first round of the playoffs) and isn't bringing enough physicality anymore to justify a $5 million paycheck. Moving his current on ice contributions opens up a regular slot for guys who are in and out of the line up (Dermot and Lillegen, both of whom are playing as well, or better) and moving his contract opens up cap space for the Leafs to bring in 1 significant player (or two solid ones) at the deadline.
The only thing the Leafs may miss is Jake's leadership, but with Spezza, Tavares, Reilly, etc on the roster already, I think they can cover that off. Jakes been solid during his time here, but show me a team that falls in love with players who are past their prime, and I'll show you a team that fails to meet expectations because of it.
