Nice
Question for you, do you think cole caufield will want to stay in Montreal or will he want to leave, idk I was just thinking about that
That's bad leadership on Couture.
Horvat never yells at guys on the bench, he knows better
Maybe bad leadership on logan i bet he knows that but hockey is a 60 minute game its on karlsson to play the full time not stand and chitchat with the ref he is the defense whywas he not the one on the back end making the play
TLDR; Couture's frustrations are justified, did his best to cover for his teammates, but still a bad look for the organization.
Sounds like a guy that's really going through an adverse situation in San Jose. The Sharks were one of the best teams in 2010 era and Couture took over after Marleau and Thornton left the organization. You probably wouldn't see that kind of outburst from Marleau or Thornton because they were more of "lead by example" type of leaders, whereas Couture is more competitive and vocal. I think this is almost comparable to fans calling for Miller to be the captain of the Canucks rather than Horvat, where emotions can sometimes get the best of him, which is amplified by main stream and social media. I personally think Horvat is and should be the captain moving forward, but that's besides the point about Couture. The Sharks' season is definitely tough and with their cap situation for Vlasic, Burns and Karlsson, it's hard to see them be able to make any moves to improve the team significantly any time soon and Couture isn't getting any younger. His frustration is pretty justified when his 10+ mil cap hit offensive d-man is standing flat footed on the opposing team's blue line, in my opinion, but he also understands the optics of his actions and does his best to explain himself. Really felt like watching Miller on the Canucks earlier in the season, when he was the only player that showed up in games at times.
This channel is the "TMZ" of hockey news. Lmao!
Lol okay so for anyone who hasn’t heard about this and clicked on the video to learn about what happened. He starts explaining what happens at about 5:00 in.
-Sharks have a empty net
-Couture is in his own zone, (Karlsson behind him) sends the puck around the boards, straight into a nucks D in SJs own zone
-Couture is on the bench mouthing off to Karlsson, Karlsson acting like he ain’t even there lol
Idk why tf couture thinks he wasn’t at fault either here. He should have taken a quick look to see if anyone was over there. He didn’t even have pressure on him.
A lot of
Drama on that team it seems! No wonder Wilson stepped down lol! Bad team
Chemistry it sounds like!
Cry me river san Jose sharks you lost get over it
I was at that game too
Lego you sound sick
I agree with that reddit post. Couture was probly PO'd with his teammates and purposely made them go neg. Side note: Boeser for Couture?
Click bait nonsense at its finest. Someone who is trying to capitalize on their complete lack of knowledge of the sport. Just pure verbal diarrhea…. I wish you well.
Pavelski, Marleau were so important to this team. Karlsson is overrated and Couture can't do it alone. Horrible chemistry for a bunch of "finger pointers"!!!! Evander Kane was villainized by teammates and fans, but it now seems the reality is it wasn't all Kane! He was the scapegoat for a bunch of "primadonna's" who didn't like him for a variety of reasons. Seems like the guys who spent so much energy complaining about Kane need to do more "looking in the mirror "!!!
If you go back to the game before when the Sharks played in Calgary, there was another empty net goal where Couture was trying to steal the puck from Tkachuk in the corner, while four other sharks (including Burns and EK65) were between Tkachuk and Lindholm and STILL couldn't block the pass between them. It was mind-numbingly bad defense.
JT was just deflated after missing that empty net, he wanted his 30th and he couldn't give a damn about the apple he got on the play.
Erik Karlsson is the most over-rated player in the history of team sports (not just hockey). I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if his teammates occasionally let him hear it. He's useless! Whenever he's on the ice, the other team is likely going to score.
In other news for the Canucks. BRANDON SUTTER IS BACK!! I'm not sure if it's his debut today or not I just recently saw a video with the exact same title on a youtube video called.
Canucks BRANDON SUTTER IS BACK!! Hopefully he's offically back and healthy again it's good to see him with the team he's been with them for a while now but we can't wait to see him play again because of all what he's been through I can't believe how long he has been with this team 6 years now really excited for his debut well maybe not his debut but ever since he's been gone first game back but whenever it does come he's gonna feel like it's his very first game ever played and maybe today's the day that he plays again who knows..
Sometimes the captains get a bit too intense, bad form to display it publically, even for a coach , especially for a player. Karlsson had big animosity in Ottawa but that was off the ice drama between their wifw and girlfriend. On the ice they were a great combo. Eric should have stayed in Ottawa where he was dominant, but Ottawa routinely ships out its top talent.
Can’t believe I listened to this entire video
This is the epitome of saying the same thing over and over again to reach the 10min mark
The Sharts are screwed
I logged in just to say you wasted 4.5 minutes of banter at the beginning of the vid. GET TO THE POINT instead of dragging out a 10min vid
Karlsson was destined for a lofty hall of fame career in his first 7-8 seasons in Ottawa. Maybe even overtake Lidstrom the rate he was going. Ever since he went to SJ, he’s been trash.
I was at the game, my nephew is 6 and had two birthday parties earlier that day, he was tired and the 2nd period was sooooo freaking boring, we just left. I am glad they won, but the game was very mediocre.
for those who didnt see it ……. you wont see it here either just some bum talking about it.
Weird.
Bad D in San Jose
Wtf
Been a long time sharks fan and I never liked karlsson
