Faits saillants de la LNH | Oilers contre Avalanche – 21 mars 2022
Mikko Rantanen a marqué deux buts et Nathan MacKinnon a marqué le vainqueur en prolongation alors que l’Avalanche du Colorado a battu les Oilers d’Edmonton 3-2.

@Rave Mer First off: I am not so quick on letting the reffs off the hook here; in these highlights alone they let many blatant infractions go unpunished (i); one that really stuck with me was the perfect hooking call they let slide at 3:29 — unacceptable!
2) Kadri pulling the helmet actually escaped me at first. Baffling, that this s[censored] is just let go; the blatant hooking (intentional or not is debatable; and irrelevant anyway) right after makes it doubly unacceptable… Games being decided by not one but 2 of these blatant infractions [in one sweep] being uncalled is b[censored]league! If this league had any sense in them, these refs would be suspended for 2 weeks.
3) I hate the new[isch] helmet rule, where you have to leave the ice for that or receive a penalty (would you receive multiple, if you didn't give an eff?). Even more so, since this wasn't the first time I saw an opponent blatantly take advantage off of that.
Its absolutely BACKWARTS reasoning: supposedly (!) it is in place for the safety of the player; realistically it encourages marchan'esque abuse (or Kadri'esque?), thereby impeding the safety of the opposing player. What if Nurse (falling ackwardly) hits the ice with his head that moment? Endangering the health of your opponent like that is a far more egregious misdoing than "risking" ones own health after losing your helmet.
They should have never issued that rule in the first place, or made sure, that doing what Kadri does would be an automatic penalty more severe than "playing w/o a helmet" was! (At the bare minimum it should guarantee offsetting minors…) + why isn't this sort if deceit/dastard behavior/abuse by a loophole not eligible for a coaches challenge?! It's unsportsmanlike behavior that should rank no lower than goalie interference (why do I see Keslers face flashing in front of my eyes?), and should be treated accordingly for revieable infractions…
… Rather than this [censored]ic rule, the refs (and rulebook) should stick to a) checking players' equipment at the start of the period and reprimand them to have their leash on tight; if someone repeatedly avoids those warnings, a 10min misconduct should be issued. Problem solved!

Atleast make your childish Bad-word-filter public, so people can learn and adapt. It's inhumane to subjugate anyone to comment-ghosting! For it creates the fake FACADE of interaction, whilst actually locking people away in tiny little cells of their own, with noone being able to ever hear/read them, which is sub-human treatment! You are too childish to cope with the usage of certain words? Fine! Then atleast be honest to us and make that list of words public, treating us like grownups atleast that much and I'm sure we'll get along!

Wen Edm is on top of there game they can play with the best of them! Coulda easily have won this one if it wouldn't have been for unlucky bounce, they recently beat Florida & Tampa they won 2 outa 3 against Calgary! The rest of the good teams are just like them have there ups & downs! Playoffs anything can happen! Go Oil Go!
The NHL really messed up this should have been on NBC or at the very least NBC Sports. Not just on ESPN+. Lots of fire power both teams. Edmonton is on the verge of desperate hockey as the playoffs are within sight. Every point matters. A tad bit more so for the Edmonton Draisitals, or the Edmonton McDavids lol
If that's a spitting image of what a "DANG-IT" is then the universe is certainly programmed! A poorly written program by a buncha stoners out there in the black abyss. DANNNNGG-IIITTTT LOL
Say what you want…but Edmonton is elite. They play a better defensive game than before and they could have won this one. I wouldn't overlook them. DS said himself that Edmonton is the best team in the NHL. Of course he was being sarcastic…

Not even upset we lost. Hard fought game and we got a point against the best team in the league
