1. Do you think If the two cups won would have been full seasons. Played would of the outcome have been the same?

  2. The phantom penalty against the Islanders in game 5 changed to whole destiny of this cup race.
    Thank the referee.

  3. ugh I fucking hate this…… seeing Gallagher post game was heartbreaking but gg Tampa over cap or not winning the cup is hard.

  4. As a Penguins fan, I think they are legit.

But just the irony. The NHL asked teams if they were willing to be allowed to go over the salary cap by putting players on LTIR & the Lightning voted against it. Now they went over it because, why not?

  5. I'm pretty emotionally sad at the moment about the loss but this was a miracle run this year and most likely will not happen for a while.
Although we do have a good team that will get even better with all the young players and i think we have a chance of bringing lord stanley home in the next few years but i will never know. GG's to Tampa and Nikita Kucherov why are you so mean ):
    Great series! And well deserved!

  6. Jane would lose reelection if Tampa lost. Besides that she's fine… She just needs to give us boat parades every few months.

  7. Hopefully the expansion and salary cap will dismantle the bolts.

That is one franchise that I don't like. Hopefully, that is their last cup forever

  8. Define dynasty. I would say yes. They've probably been the best team for 3 years, 2019 best record means something if you are talking dynasty.

Like the Wings in the finals in 95, best record in 1996. Then won in 97+98+02.

  9. So going through the playoffs , the Islanders remind me of the Bolts teams from 2015-2017 . If I had to foresee the next team that would climb the ranks it would be them. But Tampa isn’t aging out , it’s just about making sure the books are in order . So I’m predicting more series between them . Florida could go on a run if they win a series and gain confidence. As a Bolts fan im just going to enjoy the ride it’s nice seeing them do what we believed they could for half a decade now

  10. I feel like hockey will be ruined for up to five years
Like Pee Wees will dream of growing up to be slaughtered by Tampa instead of winning the cup ruined

  11. Great as always Ryan. There was part of me that would have felt sick if the Hab's won, but there was part of me rooting for them too. In the end the best team won and now we all get to watch as our teams make changes, as they try to figure out what went wrong. For us Leaf fans what went wrong basically happened in Game 1. If Tavares doesn't get stretchered off a few minutes into game 1 the Hab's could have been gone in 4 straight, …. but these are things teams can't foresee. Frankly I wouldn't make a lot of changes to the Leafs other than some tweaks that have to happen to keep the salary within the cap.
Next season being that I live in Vancouver now I'm hoping we end up with a real good team. I also wish they could find a way to keep the north division together. I loved watching a division all our own.

  12. Bettman not saying a word in his speech about the habs.. no congrats for their run, not a word… what an insult.

  13. As a Bolts fan we don’t have a dynasty yet, if we make it to another stanley cup final then I would say yes it’s a dynasty.

  14. We love it when people whine about the Bolts. Don't they know it just FUELS US!?!? Go Bolts! Y'all are invited to our party in Tampa. Thanks for the vids, Coach!

  15. Great job Coach Ryan. Have you analyzed how dynasty teams in past decades would perform against the “Diluted” top teams of today using current day rules?

  16. I'd like to point out a shift the Kucherov/Point/Palat line had immediately before the goal by Colton. During that shift the Habs actually looked somewhat dangerous with their cycle and spent a good bit of time grinding on the Bolts D with the only line that had any juice for the Habs. Kucherov makes 2 very good defensive reads/plays to defuse the danger. He first gets his stick in the lane on the feed to Anderson that would have been a breakaway, then continues deep into the zone below the goal line to dismantle the cycle. He digs the puck out behind the net and sauces a pass out to Palat who then exits the zone with Point insuring a clean line change. Stamkos/Cirelli/Colton come on the ice where they get a cycle going and win a simple board battle from Stamkos to McDonagh who freezes Perry with a threatened shot from the point then feeds Savard who again passes it back against the grain(across the royal road again) to Colton for the tap in.

None of that happens without the Playoff Points leader 2 consecutive years playing hard and smart Defense the shift prior.

  17. Coach Ryan, thank you for all the content this year. I'm so glad I found your channel. Your insight and breakdowns of the game is unmatched on YouTube. I'm really looking forward to your videos on playing and coaching the game. I'm sure that I will be using your teachings when I coach again next season as well as suggesting to the players to watch your content too. Maybe a coaching hockey school is where this all leads 🤔.

  18. Are they a Dynasty? No lol. Win 1more in the next 2 and then maybe that topic can be discussed. La and chicago hell, Pittsburg had them cup runs too. No one is discussing them as “the patriots” of hockey

  19. Immediately we're all looking at the Lightning as "only" a back-to-back team, but history will remember the same core had multiple Conference Finals and Finals appearances and the regular-season record. Arguably, you could also tie them to the Norfolk AHL record-setting squad (also under Julien BriseBois & Jon Cooper). All the haters aside, IF they continue to make runs at the Cup, yeah, we will one day talk about them as the great team of the modern era following the Red Wings of the 90s-00s.

  20. Now I'm really humbled 🤣🤣🤣..what a year here in oil land.. 😎..but I'm here because hot garbage makes sense to me..awesome

  21. You’re doing really good. It would be awesome if the NHL would give you rights to some highlights at least, so you’re not just showing pictures when explaining plays. Good stuff 😎

  22. Our Mayor is an odd one, believe me, that little speech she gave was an embarrassment for TBL or any sports team/fans.

  23. I would say it’s damn close. You acting like we aren’t knocking on the dynasty door is a joke. But you’re a Winnipeg fan. Have you ever won anything? At all? Even a selkie? How about a vote?

  24. In today's standards yes.. they are dynasty… But being over the cap really helped them. Lol. It's like NBA's or mlbs luxury cap. It helps to win rings when you're wages are so much higher than others. Lol. Still need to win so that's why I say yes. But I'm not going to say they were something special due to previously mentioned cap situation.

  25. Tampa is not a dynasty yet if the win another cup then yes they might be but there not a dynasty the only teams that are and were dynasty are islanders habs Toronto Detroit they have the most cups but they will never come close to the habs nobody is gunna get 24 cups or more then the habs the habs were a dynasty and nobody is gunna come close to that like nobody is gunna back to back to back to back to back cups like the habs did nobody is gunna win 4 or 5 cups in a row only the habs and islanders and Toronto and Detroit did that and no other team is gunna achieve that Tampa is coming up to a dynasty but they will never ever win another cup again there gunna be like the pens win 2 back to back and not win another cup for a long time I think it’s the habs time again and they will be back for more next season they learned from this and there gunna go and win next year but it’s gunna be hard but they are a team with heart and soul and I don’t see another team in the league like them they play to win with heart and soul and talent

  26. Habs fan here. Found your channel this year, great content.

Habs have good bones to build on for the next couple of years to try to get Shea and Carey one.

  27. as someone who lives in tampa, she does some weird stuff when it comes to talking to the public, but her development ideas seem pretty good, as we are growing quite alot. although her misspelling on a sign i see everywhere it says " we hope to open up local" its pretty hilarious

  28. Unfair advantage, 18 mi over the cap. How are they not supposed to win with almost 2 McDavids over anyone else. The NHL needs to change the cap rules for the playoffs or everyone will try to fake injuries and manipulate the cap space to get an advantage for the playoffs from now on.

This is cheating inside the rules

  29. Lightning deserve it – great team. Will lose players but still be formidable.Montreal weren't the best team we played so well done for making it

  30. Honestly they probably should have 4 or 5 cups now. That cup series against Chicago they were all injured and the year the Capitals took them out in 7 games ECF they woulda won the cup toss up.
